The downside is that it will now be Mike's job to maintain her mods and make juice for her, for all eternity.

Thats just a Little Sexist :( I'm pretty sure many women rebuild their own attys!
As far as DIY juice goes, the bulk of the best recipes I make, Come from a women!

unfortunately, from what i remember of mike's posts over the years, that does not seem to be the case here :D but maybe that'll change once they are in closer proximity to each other and off the every-other-weekend schedule. we shall see ;)

Yeah, that's my recollection too.

But it's OK. People bring different things to a relationship. I've been married for 32 years now, and while my wife never smoked and doesn't vape, there have always been things she expects me to deal with and vice-versa as well.

@BillW50 Don't stress it. Everything i've been hearing about the latest pods LV released, have been good. Apparently LV is pre-priming the cotton with unflavored VG to prevent what i experienced from all of the previous versions, poor wicking for DL with high VG liquids.
I might of been asking the pod system to do something it wasn't designed to do. I would take 8 sec pulls, sometimes 2 or 3 in a row, expecting a good vape each time. I could get that IF i left the fill cap off. However the pod would flood if left alone for awhile (5 min). I just got frustrated with it. I chalked it up to "pod mods aren't for me."
I would like to hear your thoughts, Bill, on what you think of the pods when you receive your device. My guess is you'll be happy with it.
Well, well, well... after what 9 days with these Orions, I finally saw what you saw. As I did use .5 pods at first and one did burnout at 4 refills. I figured it was just the juice fault and continued. Since then I was focusing on mainly the .25 pods and everything was working just fine.

But yesterday I was reading comments I found by a Google search. And it appears others were finding the .5 pods not working so well. So since yesterday I was mainly focusing on .5 pods. And wow! Same results as you had. The wicking just can't keep up with 70VG. And 50VG juice sort of kept up chain vaping. And like you, taking the fill cap off fixed the wicking problem and it vaped fine with 70VG and chain vaping.

Say, did you ever try those .25 pods yet? They seem to work pretty well with 70VG and chain vaping. :)

I don't think a Pod mod was meant for "chain vaping" They are more for high nic short small hits. IMO these would be great for a new vaper trying to get off cigarettes.
The Orion, is probably the best pod mod cause replay's coil protection!

Well I think the Orion is good for both new and advanced vaper to be honest Steamer861. And why won't the Orion be good for chain vaping? My Vladdin I can chain vape all day if I want to and that is a pod mod. Normally most pods will get hotter and hotter vapor if you chain vape them. The Vladdin doesn't let the vapor get hotter and hotter (I guess it is the ceramic coil that keeps the temp down).

The Orion also doesn't get hotter vapor either. But this time it is because of Replay. And the Orion using the .25 pod has no problem chain vaping either. As it keeps up with 70VG juice without a problem. Not so with the .5 pod, as the wicking can't keep up. And it can't because the pod has too much vacuum. Remove the fill cap and the vacuum is gone and the .5 no longer has a problem either.

Sitting down, facing forward.
As with all things vape related YMMV. Your style of vaping will be the biggest factor and when I say style I'll include everything from mix ratios, length of draw and frequency of draw just to name a few. I have a habit of rapid chain vaping for a minute or two then putting it down for ten or fifteen minutes. I'm happy with the rigs I have but have been watching the whole Orion discussion.

We have the same vaping style albeit for me it's RDAs and 100+ watts. I've been following the pod discussion as well but I enjoy fat dense clouds with very low nic and have no need for sleath. The pods do sound like a good kit for people trying to get off cigs.

While the Orion looks like just a pod and it is small like a pod, but it vapes like a DNA40. Also it is also good for advanced MTL and DTL users. So wouldn't it be cool to shrink your mod down and make it really small to have it really portable from time to time? That's the Orion. :)

I'm pretty set in my vaping ways also :) I use 2mg 45 watts @ 450 degrees :)
I'v been doing this for so long now, i'm happy with it :)
I don't use replay, I do how ever have a few set ups that vary from my "Style" I run my BB @ 25 watts in wattage mode :) This is my stealth mod :) just incase I don't want to be noticed vaping, or if I want some thing that looks stylish :) I also have a few Mecs I run @ .2ish :)
I just cant see how 950mAH would be a viable battery? I need at least an 18650, even in my stealth mods & the more mAH the merrier for every thing else!
