Sitting down, facing forward.
Dicodes 2380, 40 watts with one cell or 80 with two.

Does that have a red or green laser and make those cool laser sword sounds?

Most ppl in the US have no clue who Dicodes is. +10 points for your coolio factor!:thumb:
Dicodes was a PITA IMHO, but once you figured out the niggles it worked pretty good. I had a very high end Stab wood with one in it, German chip, Polish mod, downright beautiful...... gave it away.

I literally went down in 1mg intervals so as not to notice the withdrawal. For me the addictive part of smoking was the nic, so going backwards is not in my future!
Hah! I cut back from the 15 to I used for several years to my current 13 even more slowly, 0.5 mg at a time over more than a year. But I haven't felt like going lower yet either.

I would never increase my nic
I normally wouldn't either, at least not much, but this was a special circumstance: Stuck in a tradeshow booth for 9 hours a day, with few opportunities to go outside. So I figured some really strong stuff would help with the jonesing I've experienced in the past, and I was right about that.

BTW nice write up on your pod experience :thumb:
Thanks! If they were the only devices left on the planet, I'd get by just fine with 'em, but they're not "my" vape.

Have you considered maybe it's the 36mg of nic that gunks the coil?
I don't think so. I think Mike vapes 36 mg regular nic and gets decent coil life using it? However, I doubt I'm up to trying regular nic at that strength myself; I expect I would find it too harsh. Now what I might do is cut some of that 36 mg salt just down to something resembling my regular 13 mg strength and run it in one of my regular mods just to see what happens with it. FWIW, on my most-used mod with 35 PG, 65VG, 13nic, I generally go two to four weeks before I get the sense that I need a new (rayon) wick and a clean coil. That's 50-100 ml of liquid through it...

Ever try squirting ejuice in your mouth when you can't vape? It works great on flights and in white collar workplaces.

So who was the first mod manufacturer to produce a TC mod? Evolve, Dicodes or SXK?
Depends what you mean by "Produce". The Greek Guy (Imeo) had a demo video up for his VIR board before the DNA40 was officially announced, see here. However, I'm not sure whether that board ever really went into production. I think Dicodes came a bit later. I have no idea about SXK.

TBH, I use nic gum on flights; habit from when I was still smoking. It keeps me from trying to open the emergency exit and climbing out on the wing for a vape at 38,000 ft. o_O

Squirting cigatron? No, I haven't done that. But I did get 6 new flavors Wednesday and their sale ends Wednesday night so I was in a rush to quickly try them so I could put in a big order if I find one I liked. And I'll be darn, four of them the flavor was almost identical and one was eggnog for Pete's sake. So that wasn't working. So I tasted a drop of each out of the bottle. Darn again. That tasted nearly the same when you vape them. I guess they really need to be steeped first. :(

IDK about squiting E-juice in my mouth

Yep, I did some of that in the booth. With 36 nic juice, it doesn't take much, and it was 70PG, so the vapor wasn't exactly dense to begin with. :D

However, I won't do that in an airliner seat because I have no desire to be greeted by lawn forcement types at my destination, and planes are generally packed pretty full these day. Now the airliner's bathroom might be a different story. But I'm keen on window seats, meaning I don't go there often.

That's what I do to see if I'm going to like a new flavor. I won't contaminate my rda with some nasty flavor if I can help it so I taste test a drop or two straight from the bottle first. BTW, if an atty won't produce vapor flavor very very close to taste testing drops it goes in the junk drawer. Generally speaking this is why I don't vape on attys that use vacuum to control juice flow. Unmitigated juice flow is a key factor in producing vapor that closely resembles the bottled flavor for me. Rayon is key too, along with controllable coil temps. YMMV.

So are you saying that you only use dripper RbA's and no RTA's? generally

Wasn't there a story about a flight where the airline bathroom smoke alarm went off while someone was in there vaping?
Yeah, I've heard such stories about hotel rooms too, but I've never had a problem with my MTl tootle-puffing style of vaping. In an airplane bathroom, I figure the key is stealth; if I can't see any vapor, I doubt the smoke alarm can either.

YMMV, especially if you're DL'ing max VG. ;)

Yes, these days I only use one tank atty, my trusty modified Aromamizer with a NiFe52 build. I use it every evening after work. It's not the best for flavor but my wife doesn't complain about vaping it in the house. The rest are RDAs and squonkers.
