A battery tube installation would work fine But then you would end up with a tube cap situation like the SX mini, A cap for the battery that screws off & on is a bit of a pain. magnets sound better to me
Kind of wishing I would have bought an ERM enclosure when moderate had them on sale
Probably would be easy enough to put a battery sled in it and mod the back cover with magnets.

Protovapor still has the EMR case. Its currently on sale and machined for the Evolv 510. All the new stuff is machined for the modcrate 510.

Just checked back and there in stock now To bad international shipping is 37 bucks to Canada
That comes out to all most 80 bucks for an empty enclosure, Factor in a chip a battery sled and the magnet mods. Thats a little more than I want to pay

To supervise the dismantling of an large Industrial Textile machine that my company bought. To put it in perspective, the Siemens PLC parts etc that control the machine went obsolete in 2005, and the machine has been cannibalized to some degree. Yes, it will be a "pleasure" alright........

I can see a new mod manufacturer opportunity in the near future, an 18650 flash light that converts to an ecig mod? It will be a must have for every vaper that travels.

Checked measurement on the tube from FDV & it is too large to install without blocking the shell screws anyway. Magnets & sled is the only way to go.

I would really like to see some thing like this
With a single cell 18650 & as small as posable
A nice easy access cover in the back with magnets & a high quality 18650 battery sled
adapted for the Evolv 510. To bad I can't design it my self

I might be able to come up with something. Let me take a look. Might take a few days to get the chance to sit down with my machine though.
