It's ironic to me. I saw a caracture of Trump with a Hitler mustache. Hitler was a Fascist, among other things. Facism seems to utilize violence to enforce its' opinions (mob rule), repress free speech and thought (PC culture), and controls the media. That's how it grows and becomes even more of a cancer. While Trump may have played the media, the Democratic Party has quite a bit of control over the media and we are seeing what the "behind the scenes" leadership is doing. Just my opinion of what we are potentially witnessing.
They have think tanks to come up with these Hitler type sound bites to put out there and the followers eat it right up, what ever happen to thinking for yourself? Soros owns much of the media, he pays for these think tanks and funds many of these left wing organizations, throw in he has most of the Dems in his pocket and that's a lot of control. They are spoon feeding the thoughts of our kids from kindergarten right through college. Did you see the drama at the colleges after the elections? There was walk outs at a few high schools. What's on CNN & MSNBC all day and late into the night? It's not news, it's show after show of bashing and trashing. Although Fox is tilted a little more right, there aren't much better, they hold back on reporting things like these undercover videos showing these guys talking about the paid protesters at Trumps rally's and the paid protesters bused into the cities the last few nights, why aren't they plastering this stuff on Fox?
When you get your news from one of these channels or from one of the major news papers and you eat it up as all fact, this is what you end up with. A lot of people who can't think for themselves and when showed the truth laugh at it. But half the country gets it and they are sick of it, times are changing.
Part of me actually wanted Hillary to win, I thought, you know another 4-8 years of the same will cause so much pain that it will really wake people up. Pain is an awakener, I was a drunk for most of my younger years on through middle life, I knew in my heart the booze was a problem for me but when you drink it up every day (just like being brainwashed) it's damn hard for you to face the facts. For me, it took facing a judge (again) and knowing he could easily send me to jail this time. The pain I had caused myself and finally seeing how it was hurting those that loved me, how psychically sick it was making me, it woke me up, that was my moment of clarity. I see it the same with society, until there is enough pain you'll keep right on drinking it up and ignoring what's right in front of you. My hard core Democrat wife, she gets it, finally. And on her own, we don't discuss politics, it wasn't me nagging on her. I think a lot of other's finally have seen the light too, and that's how Trump won. But Soros isn't going away, he's far from done.
Soros is a self professed anarchist and supposedly funds these bused in hate rally protests worldwide just for giggles & ratings & has been doing it for years. "Protesters" are trained on ways to incite violence and basic hand to hand combat.
He founded MoveOn.org to help Bill Clinton defend against impeachment in the wake of the Monica Lewinsky scandal and has been bussing BLM & other hate groups to Trump Rallies all along to incite violence so Hillary could point the finger at Trump as a racist inciting hatred & violence.

I think the left needs to come to terms that the election is over and Trump will be our president.
I read that Andrew Jackson was more bombastic that Trump and when he won, he had a party in the white house that was so crazy, he had to find a hotel (equivalent of the times) to get some sleep and the white house was trashed. He didn't turn out so bad.
I strongly believe that Trump will be regarded as one of the great presidents in US history. Yes, he can be bigoted but he's not a racist or a misogynist or a sexist. He is a product of his generation (think of your grandfathers or great uncles). He was not groomed to be a politician but has been in the media most of his adult life so I'm sure you'd find worse than the Billy Bush tape.
He's more centered than any politician I've ever known. He's not a crazy liberal or a right-wing nut and I think that's his biggest appeal. Some on the left (Pocahontas Warren and Sanders) is already willing to work with him because some of his ideas/plans align with theirs.
I do have some concerns with Trump but I'm hopeful that he will do the right thing.

He was a Democrat before a Republican so he is very centrist and able to work both sides of the aisle and his cabinet choices may very well reflect that. He is a businessman & knows how to get things done & more importantly surround himself with good people. I think like Reagan he will be vilified by the press and Liberals throughout his presidency and I'll bet there will be an attempt on his life.
I also think you are correct that like Reagan, he has potential to usher in an era of change that has the ability to provide Strength & Pride to the United States again. I believe he will take care of our veterans and pare down government size, overreach & regulation stifling our economy and usher in a recovery that he will not be given credit for until years later. His successor will attempt to claim credit for that recovery just as Clinton did after the Reagan/Bush Era, but ultimately you are right that he could go down in history as one of the great presidents reminiscent of The Reagan Legacy.
Like you I have my concerns as well, lets just hope for the best.

- I agree, & understand many here may not be interested, but the FSK is a very respectable chip I highly recommend trying, just like you did w/ the Target Mini. I took your advice and don't regret it. FSK's accuracy is debatable as the user defines the parameters of where you fall on the curve by feel, but it is very functional once set, and does what no DNA can do. It lets me actually use all those stock Kanthal coils I was stupid enough to buy way back in the day & the one's that come with new tanks under very respectable TC conditions. I don't think it's better than a DNA, but a complement to one. It's also handy for claptons & the like. I never said they would be successful, but Hillary & Barack are not condemning the riots, violence & urging peaceful transition of power and acceptance of results regularly as they should be. That soundbite from 19sec to 45 seconds in video below of Hillary condemning Trump stating that "the peaceful transfer of power is one of the things that sets up apart and is one of the thing that hold us together" should be played on every network over every protest video we see and the media is not doing that. WHY?
Instead she is telling her supporters that they won the popular vote and they should continue the fight for their beliefs & their values. She is crossing her fingers that the impossible may happen.
If they can afford to stage these protests, they can certainly afford to bribe 30 individuals to become faithless. I certainly wouldn't put it past them & they might be emboldened enough to think they could get away with it under the climate of dissent they are inciting.
I confess not following closely but I would think Military Officers cannot realistically be forced to become Secretary of Defense or serve as trusted advisors under order against objection (certainly not a good idea anyway). CNN was saying all the top tier conventional pics declined interest to serve under him and second & third tier picks were being approached, but I cannot confirm accuracy of that assertion. There was much talk about how many officers are checking the manuals to find out what orders would be considered lawful & which they can refuse as unlawful if they are ordered to round up illegal immigrants for deportation in the streets of NYC & Los Angeles when the Mayors are declaring safe havens.
I agree Leavenworth is penalty if a lawful order is refused.
