Got a buddy who recently became a father and is looking to quit smoking (again)...any suggestions on a starter mod/kit with Temp. Control? Ever since I started constructing my own mods with the Evolve DNAxxx boards, I've not paid any attention to what else is out there.
Well I guess the Canadian Dog Sled Team was feed Well
So Far the Ammit 25 is a lot like a Pharaoh!
It's a lot smaller & more attractive to look at.
The draw is a bit tighter & the flavour seems a bit, just a bit! muted compared to the Pharaoh!
The build quality seems goodit comes with 2 pieces of glass but only one of each 2 Mil & 5 Mil.
I like the "goon style drip tip" it came with a top cap adapter for the tip but no goon tip, I purchased them separately
The build deck is a bit smaller & the wire retention system seems a bit more trouble than the clamp, the Pharaoh has.
IMO the side air flow is watering down the flavour that tinny bit! With the Pharaoh it's only bottom Air flow so all the air hits the coil from the bottom not the bottom & side like the 25.
I would like to use them for a while longer before I say for sure, But as of now IMO the Pharaoh is in the lead by a bit
After using them for a while I will post a follow up, with any faults I mite find
BTW I'm in TC Mode, the coil is 2 by 24 wrapped in 30 gauge all Titanium wire

The flat top mite be adding to the lack of intense flavourMy Ammit dual has better flavor. The Ammit 25 is flat milled inside at the top of the atty chamber. I'm amazed that GV did that knowing that conical and domed shapes are better for flavor.
I think this is a big part of it to! A percentage of side Air flow gets sucked straight up the chimney with out hitting any thing. It's like watering down boozeAlso airflow, wasted airflow kills flavor.

It's more the size of the chamber than anything else, putting a cone on top of a chamber the size of an 18350 isn't really going to do much, it's hopeless at that point lol.
Also airflow, wasted airflow kills flavor.
idk, have to agree to disagree on that one I guess, every tank I've ever used had liquid run back down, cone or not... a lot of the tanks these days have the cone on top of huge chambers, it doesn't help the muted flavor imo.Too much and wasted airflow yes, can't agree with your assessment of coned and domed tops though. An internally flat milled top cap will cause the liquid in the vapor to fall out of suspension in that sharp corner. That liquid then just runs back down the chamber wall.
By total size, the Pharaoh, by unused volume of chamber space, I am not sure.Which one has the biggest chamber?
