Sitting down, facing forward.
One other thing I did that I didn't mention previously was to separate the wraps of the coil, spreading them out just a little to leave clear space between each wrap. Maybe that was the "magic" or I just got lucky...I dunno.

My issue was the 75c :( Got them going on the 200,s now :)
I am using the first one "contact" not spaced like I do the Ti.
I glowed them red, not to red.
There staying in TC :) Working really well, IMO the flavour is a little better with Ti.
I'm going to test them long term, hopefully I can dry burn off the crud build up, when they get junked.
This & buying premade would be the only advantage I can see over my Ti Claptons :)
I'm going to set up another of my 200's with a "Spaced" SS430 coil.

They are nicely built, & being able to buy prebuilt Claptons would be a nice change from twisting them myself :)

BTW I made a custom CVS file on Steam Engine, with the SS430 Clapton specs :)

"patients" [emoji23] btw yeah I had the exact same issue everyone else is having with them... I think they are prone to hot spots but once I started really pulsing the hell out of them, they seem to work. the temp though feels a little colder on my zivipf/unkamen 430 profile... Didnt someone say they talked to the supplier? did he mention anything about this?

Slickwilly I got those grubs, thank you so much dude, I'm having so much better experience in TC now. Crazy that a screw would do that, I have to admit I was still kind of skeptical bc I figured it's being clamped against the post anyway, but for whatever reason it does.

Also is it just me or does anyone feel like it's almost Evolv is taking a step back with this replay thing... I'm kinda not liking the direction they are going with this, it isn't safer & unfortunately it looks like it will try to give you the same hit whether there's enough juice to feed the coil or not. What they should of done if they wanted to go this way with it is design some super accurate board that can read the minute changes in kanthal, automatically predict by tcr or something what type of material you're using & then get rid of wattage from the board entirely, except as a way to pulse coils or something, Idk

For the Advanced TC vapers, like Us who follow along here, Yes We have takin a back seat to the mass's :( "Replay" is no improvement for Us, But will be for the 90% who don't use TC all the time.
In the video, They mention, from info
harvested via "EcigStats" Only 10% of DNA users use TC all the time!
The new
improvements "Replay"are for more unskilled (for lack of a better term) vapers.

Personally I see my self using the new "C" Chip the same way I use the current DNA's

I'm glad they worked for you. I forgot to tell you, the shorter screws are what the Aromamizer two post deck take (and most other atty's), those are M2.5 x .45 x 3 long.
M2.5 x .45 Socket Set Screw Cup Point Metric A2 Stainless Steel
The longer screws are just some I had kicking around, which ones worked for you?

Somehow, I suspect that when using "replay" in watts mode temperature is being controlled as well. Think of it kind of like why you don't, or shouldn't, get a "dry hit" when using TC. They're monitoring and adjusting everything, voltage, current, resistance, temperature (I suspect), to keep things consistent. It may not be "temperature dominant" but I am also betting temperature is controlled/limited. Since they stated they're monitoring resistance that would mean temperature is effectively being watched as well, TC wires only of course. I could be wrong, frequently am.

About the Ammit 25 That ^ is no longer true. Ripped apart (2pc 510 BTW), Ultrasonic cleaned, and still puddling underneath around/from the outer edges. Sad :(

Now I'm glad I didn't order one!

Yep, yep, yep. I liked the performance of the two Ammit 25's I had but can't tolerate leaking (any). :( Every RTA I've had with a press fit JFC eventually started leaking.

Great performance for me! The Black's airflow was never clicky at the detents, and the JFC is still sorta jerky unlike the Gold. The Gold has been behaving and not a drop in sight.

Perhaps I should do my trusty Golf Driver trick with the Black .......... Put a newly coiled tank beside it, and start talking about swapping it out if it doesn't clean up its act. That'll fix it.

Hmmm.... Wonder if that trick would work with wife's?

I may have extended the time it took for my second one to start leaking by never using the jfc. I hand selected that one from among 5 at the vape shop, the one with the least amount of tank wobble and it lasted a few months before the (inevitable?) happened. I hope your Gold one lasts for you.

I suspect that when using "replay" in watts mode temperature is being controlled as well.

But at what temp? The whole point of TC is to stay below 470 degrees.
The point were Toxins start to Sky Rocket!

Wicking! can cause these issues? Did you try rewicking? with a bit more wick.

Wicking can make or break the performance of an atty, I just rewicked 2 attys, that were performing Stellar! with the new wick the Flavour has dropped off on both :(
The coil was not changed nor it's position changed, seems funny to me that just the wick could make such a Big Difference :(

Yes, perhaps in the same way as a golf driver; you will quickly find out who's really at fault......:D

True, that and what's good for the goose.... The thought of bringing my German wife's wrath upon myself is chilling, it has helped keep in line over the years. ;)

    As my sig line reads....

I have to wonder where this will lead, as said in the video there is much more to come from Evolv. From what I could gather Evolv's goal long ago was to make vaping safer, with things still "Evolving" those of us that use TC may be pleased in the future. It also sounds like the FDA regulations threw a monkey wrench in how things can be released now, God knows what we would have today if not for the regs. Bottom line for me, being a TC guy, I'm happy with the 75's and 200's, I'll wait and see where things go before I make a move. Plus there is an advantage to waiting, prices come down, I don't need the latest and greatest the day it's released. :)
