I would love to think that if I walked into my office and saw her sitting on my desk, that I would start in some friendly conversation.

But I also know the real me. I'd probably throw my coffee cup in the air and quickly exit and running for my life. :lol:

Sitting down, facing forward.
If I walked into my office and she was sitting on my desk like that first thing I'd do i check my ID to make sure it's actually me. Then I'd go outside and check to make sure I was in the right building. After that, maybe seek professional help with my delusions.

Tibs, you still serve the best coffee!

Hope you get a doctor that will be on top of this and find out what's going on. One thing I learned long ago is don't put these doctors on a pedestal, ask questions and let them know who's in charge, they are working for you. Don't accept long waits to get results from tests, make them understand you expect them to be right on top of treating you.

I have another appointment with my doctor tomorrow and he's going to get an ear full from me. I waited a week to get a call with the results from my last blood test showing my red blood cell count was low and they told me they wanted another draw for more test, I told the nurse I had been feeling better. When I called them back the next morning and asked if they were going to also recheck my red blood cell count again, seeing how I was feeling better, they told me the nurse would check with the doctor and call me back. Two days passed, the nurse finally called back at 4 PM on Friday and said;
Seeing how you have an appointment with the doctor on Monday you can ask him then and we can do the blood draw while your here.
I responded with;
Well gee, thanks for being right on top of things and getting right back to me. I hope this isn't cancer that's returned or popped up elsewhere. If you've looked at my chart you'll see I've already had a round with it just a few years ago. I hope precious time isn't ticking away, now yet another week has passed and nothing has been addressed.
I think she could tell I was a little .........

It's been a month since my first visit with the doc, so far they guessed I might of had a kidney infection, first blood test took a week and a half to rule that out. Then they thought I might be having migraines and done more blood tests to find my red cell count was low, since I've improved with no treatment. At this rate, if it's something serious it could be months before they figure out what's going on, that's NOT going to be acceptable! Too much time passes getting test results and getting calls from them, if they can't stay on top of things I'll find someone else who can. Don't let this happen to you!
Yeah I treat them similarly, i mean I'm paying for a service yak now? bc I'm so sick of visiting different doctors who seem to be poorly trained/educated, maybe that's why they don't like me [emoji19] anyways I went, I brought in all my medical stuff, (included the tests they did over again) doctor didn't even look at it, & decided on running the preliminary tests again, I have to wait for that to come back before any serious happens.
kiba, You'd probably get a laugh out of this story. Back when I first started twisting wrenches in the 70's the shop I worked in had these old in ground double post lifts, one post was stationary to lift under the rear axle and the front you would slide forward or rearward to lift under the front suspension, kind of like in the pic below but it was vintage even in the 70's.

inground_traditional.jpg

The lift I used didn't work right, you started putting air pressure to it and it would lag before lifting, suddenly the pressure would rise enough and the front would BOOM jump a good foot in the air almost tossing a car off the lift. They had people come in to service the lift one day, I had an engine on a stand torn down that I was rebuilding, the engine came from a convertible that was sitting next to it. During lunch the lift repair guys were working on it when we suddenly heard a bunch of yelling in the shop, we walked out of the lunch room to see a two inch stream of hydraulic oil rising from the in ground oil reserve tank up like a oil gusher and hitting the ceiling then showering all over the shop. One of the workers had pulled the fill cap off the tank and another applied pressure to test the lift not knowing the cap was still off. There was old cream colored hydraulic oil, that stunk like hell, cream colored because it had water in it, all over the place. It was all inside the engine I was rebuilding, inside the open drawers of my tool box and all over the outside of the box, the walls, floor, dripping from the ceiling, the lights and all inside and outside of that convertible, the top was down.... :facepalm:
lol, those and the trench ones are my favorite kind of lifts, I haven't seen a working one in a long while though, also I have a similar one, not as bad though; a guy was working on a convertible & the lift he was using was under maintenance & nobody was supposed to be using it, anyways long story short when he activated the lift, the fluid shot out in an high arc that made a puddle right on the driver's seat.

Btw I spent my day off scrubbing floors to no avail... does anyone have a good way to clean up like a film of dirt/dust off of a bamboo floor? Idk if it's caked on or what but scrubbing w/ a mop does nothing, I've tried various things but initially upon moving in I noticed the pristine areas where the previous owner had rugs & thought I could clean that off no problem but so far it's still there.

i wouldn't be surprised if there's nothing to clean off - sounds to me as if the finish has been damaged :(

that's based on your observation of the difference between the bare floor and where it was protected by area rugs. somebody might have used too harsh a cleaner

Only thing I can think of is try some TSP, but try it in a small area that can't be seen first to make sure it doesn't screw up the finish before going at it where it shows. If TSP won't clean it I'd be at a loss, but I'm not a wood working guy either so.... There's always paint. :laugh:

Here is my list of interchangable parts between authentic Taifun GT IV and Shenray SRG V4
1. drip tip, nope,
not even that though it does plug into the hole just fine.
...........to be continued when I get to work..............
The SRG v4 vapes just fine, I pulled out the positive post from the base to make sure that there were two separate air paths present and there are.
Also it looks as if the Shenray Typhoon GT v4 is a 1:1 copy, at least more so than the SRG v4 which they probably used a photo to copy it (imo)
I ordered the Ulton version too.

It's like a film of dust, If I scrub REALLY hard on my hands & knees some of it comes off.

''Natural Bamboo Cleaning Solution
You may not need a commercial product at all—an effective all-natural bamboo floor cleaning agent might already be sitting in your home.

If you mix 1/4 cup of white vinegar into a quart of water, you'll have a solution that will allow you to safely clean the surface of your bamboo floors. This cleanser should be applied in the same way as with a commercial hardwood cleaner, using a damp sponge or rag wrung dry before application.''
