All this talk about cleaning coils reminded me of my coils. I knew one needed a good cleaning, but the rest of them I wasn't sure. Turned out only one needed it, but I did the rest anyway. As what else am I going to do on a Sunday morning? 
Anybody ever hear of tube wicking? Yeah me either and made that name up after I did it. But I was trimming some cotton and I thought this would be easy as flat as is. Wonder how that would vape? Taking a flat piece of cotton and thrown through a coil which forms it into a tube. Cool.
I didn't even juice it, just letting the squonker wet the whole thing. The coil is mounted high, like 10mm from the well. So the juice has to travel up pretty far. Had taken no more than 10 seconds for everything to get wet. Well that is a good sign.
So how does it vape? Well flavor is about average, vapor a bit less. Nothing really exciting going on here.

The only tube wicking I did was on gennies. Split a straw down the side, pack it up with Ekowool, compress till it fits through the coil and pull the straw out leaving the Ekowool behind. Nicer than having to torch the end of the Ekowool white hot so it gets stiff enough to thread through a coil.

Yeah, I actually thought about doing a Scottish Roll at that point (why do I want to call it a Swedish Roll?
). But people talk about it, but few people actually does it. I figure if that was really any good, most of us would be using it by now.

I still have a bunch of cheese cloth and Peachs and Cream yarn to try out yet.....from way back.

I tried rayon, tried to like it! I have a long list of wicking materials I tried & didn't like as muck as KGD, is my favourite
