so where's the recipe? :?:

Not much to it, good quality and a nice sweet cider, put the mulling spices in and simmer https://www.amazon.com/Masterproofing-Stainless-Steel-Spice-Infuser/dp/B01NCB8SD1 I use these lager ones, I have four of them. I like to add the grated orange peel, then slice the orange and toss it in the pot. I have used tangelos or those little easy peel oranges for kids, they work just as well.

I found four things that are important;
*Good, sweet cider, I think the processed store bought is better for mulling then fresh from a cider mill, tends to be sweeter and have a more intense apple taste. For drinking cold cider I go the opposite, fresh from the mill.
*Good mulling spices, these are all we use Country Spice Mulling Spices but taste is subjective, I have tried many, but not all of them.
*Use LOTS of spices, for a quart I half full two of those large tea balls, the spices will swell a lot, get too much in and the ball will be packed tight, then the liquid can't flow through the ball as well to infuse the flavors from the spices.
*Simmer longer then you would think, I like to get it going quicker, I'll turn the burner on high to bring it up hot but not a boil then reduce to a real low and slow simmer, uncovered, it will smell so good!

That's it, quick and easy, set it and forget it. I strain it through a metal mesh coffee filter to remove the grated peel and any bits of spices that made their way out of the tea ball. I like to mull up a bunch and keep it in the frig so I can nuke it and enjoy it any time. I suppose you probably could freeze it to, I don't know why not, but it doesn't last long enough around here, we drink it up within 2-3 couple days.

Sometimes my wife will mull some wine, I don't drink so I can't say if it's any good or not but she and my Daughter like it.

Oh, one last thing on that brand of spices I linked, you might be able to look around find them in a smaller bag, we get that same brand and type, the loose, in smaller 4 ounce packages at the local mill for $4. They also make it with the spice in paper tea bags, I tried the bags and rather use the loose. That big 2 pound bag would be a better deal (depending on shipping cost) but that much would last me 2-3 years (winters).

Tibs, Just happen to think, if you want to try a 4 oz bag of that spice I get I can grab you one and send it out to you. They use to ship stuff out but the prior owner who has owned it as long as I can remember finally sold it and retired last year, the new owners are running it the same. Nothing has really changed other then their website and facebook pages, I don't see any items listed online or any mention of shipping. But the store is the same as before, they even make all the pies and donuts the same, they must have gotten all the recipes which makes us sooo happy because they have outstanding pies!! Here's a couple links

Thanks, Willie, but I think I'll take the plunge on a Rigid although the DeWalt they show looks good for the price. I see they're selling Crapman tools now, too. Sears, the kiss of death.

DW, for the cost of that thing they could have bought Blue Iris software and have really good video monitor capabilities, a used i5, 5th or 6th gen, desktop to run BI on and a decent POE, layer 2, 24 port, managed switch. I know nada about NVRs, too limited for my tastes. looking at the specs, they don't even mention if it's ONVIF compatible which makes recognizing/configuring cameras a real PITA if it isn't, specifically for motion detection events.

Hard drives are not included, it has 3 WD purple 6 TB's.
Right now there are 23 cameras on it with a couple more coming.
It was installed yesterday, I can't get it to play back.....yet.

Hopefully I won't have to create a new thread on ECF to find the correct answer and hopefully this will be a quick one here. I am having a discussion with someone and they say if I vape 18ml of juice a day at 24mg (which I do). He claims I am vaping 432mg of nicotine per day. But that doesn't sound right to me and 24mg is the same as 2.4%. And 2.4% of 18ml is 0.432mg. So who is right?

EDIT: Looks like he is right. It's mg per ml and not mg per liter like I thought.

How much nicotine is in your ejuice?

6TB, WD, purples are about $190 each. How much space you need is determined by resolution, frames per second and, of course retention time. Usually folks think they're producing a Hollywood blockbuster and record at 30fps, or higher if it's available. At 15fps the video stays fairly smooth. For my purposes I'm down at 10fps and only use about 3TB per week with 10 cameras all running at 1080.

Wow! My Fantom 8TB drives are like $265 apiece. :(
These purples are bare drives.
Most of our cams are running at 15 or less, I ask for a couple 60's. All the ones now are 30.
Need to positively identify face that's moving quickly in certain situations (particular area). Last time it was a $3000 bicycle, had a couple of good (possible) shots of him but since he was moving pretty fast it was too blurry.

I guess it all depends on what they're designed for in terms of use. The "purples" are built for video surveillance use, or any other use that has constant, 24/7, write operations going on. The prices do kind of escalate, non-linearly, depending on size. A 4TB purple is about $110, a 6TB is about $190 while an 8TB is about $260.

In terms of FPS versus blurriness, I'd look at distance, focal length and size of the sensor in the camera. Then it gets down to shutter speed and exposure settings, along with a host of other things, in the camera. It's easily possible to get a good shot of the license plate of a car moving at 30-40mph at 15fps if the camera is set up properly. Incidentally, license plate reading is an art unto itself and takes a dedicated camera.

I'm getting first hand experience with all those 316 troubles that I've been reading about for a few years over on the manufacturer's support site. I'd love to have these triple core fused clapton's with 430 core and kanthal wrap. Wrapping them with SS really throws a curve into figuring the resistance on SteamEngine, although I might be missing something as I rarely use it.

I guess I should add that this is at my work (and is my responsibility), it's close to a quarter billion dollar piece of property consisting of 80 condos on San Diego Bay in the city of Coronado. They're buying, the more they spend the more secure they fell, the easier my job is.

Yes he is and you're dosing pretty heavy on the nic Bill.:D

I vape 20-25 ml of 3mg per day. Still 75mg/day is probably something I could cut down on.
