At work I tried another slightly aged HD2 in my DNA75, it was i little better but still lagging. When I got home I broke out a new one, charged it, and it did well. I'm going to see if it degrades quickly or not as time goes on.

I gave up on TV about 10 years ago. I only watch it when I am kidnapped and placed in a hospital room or stuck in a waiting room with a TV. Gee, I wonder how much money I have saved by giving up on TV? Let's say it cost 100 bucks a month for cable/satellite for 10 years. That's 12k in savings. :D

Gave satellite up when I looked at $116 a month (watching very few of the selection) versus multiple air channels at no cost and $11 buck for HULU.

The FedX hub is in Memphis. Everything goes through that hub, even if it's only being shipped from one town to the next in the same state. How they make money doing that is beyond my comprehension.

I was looking at the spare postless decks I purchased for the Plus... and are those two loose grub screws in each bag spares? I can see someone opening those bags and not seeing them and losing them. FT just says it contains one deck and 8 screws.

My Titanium coil on the KF5 started tasting burnt out of the blue while I was vaping. Taken it apart and it must be the juice, since the rayon looks fine. Had it running on an Aegis 100w and maybe it screwed up. Made a new coil and now running it on a Triade. If it happens again, I'm going to have to figure it out.

Bill, a K-F V5 is basically a lower power single coil atty, 100 watts?
I run mine on DNA75's with a lower preheat than Bigger atty's, like the Plus.
Also I wouldn't trust Ti in TC on any thing but a DNA!

The Aegis 100W is the model number vs. the Aegis 200W (one is a one cell mod and the other is a two cell). Even still I had it set at 25 watts on the Aegis. Although on the Triade I have it set at 12 watts with the Titanium .3 ohm coil. And I am using no preheat. Yes it takes 1 second to get up to 420°F, but that is ok by me.

It not just yours, dna75s are battery suck'n pigs. I use one as my morning and evening indoor rig and run a dual coil 25g .120 ohm NiFe52 alloy build at 65w. I'm lucky to get 4mils vaped before draining my Sony VTC5As. In comparison I can knock down 10 mils using the same batt in my mech squonker with a dual coil 26gx2 .095 ohm SS Fused clapton build.

I'm looking at voltage drop between the same model cells. Is it you get the weak battery message or is the standing voltage of the cell really low too. A 75 is for sure power hungry amps wise.

I have three dna75s, all lavaboxes and they have all done the same thing. After a good cell drops to around 1/3 on the display I get a weak battery message. Much sooner with worn cells. Standing voltage?

Standing voltage, the voltage of the cell when not firing.
Here is a couple of screens comparing the old (not that old) vs a new HD2
I would have liked both cells to have the same starting voltage but they are only close.
The first screen the low point in the graph is 3.14 volts and the 2nd screen the voltage is 3.67 volts. This is while firing @ 45 watts..0.46 SS.

Standing voltage varies with charge level. The sag voltages however will definitely begin worsening with batt aging. As the batt ages it's internal res increases so it's ability to maintain standing voltage during heavy current loads will diminish. If the dna75 were a dual parallel batt setup we would see more stable batt performance but it is only a single cell so that really taxes the current limits of most 18650s, especially when running tc with .1-ish ohm builds. I use my newest sonys in my dna75 mods first, then when they show signs of weakening I use them in my mechs.

Edit: I've not tried HD2 batts. I have only tried Sammy 25R, HG2 and Sony VTC batts. The sonys have always done the best with my singlr cell dna75 mods.
