Kind of wish Morgan would check back in and let us know she's doing ok and got some good info on how to vape safe. Morgan you there???
I had no idea. I have loose batteries both rechargeable and otherwise rolling around in containers all over my house! I did not realize how dangerous a little battery could be. I will be doing some clean up today, I'm sitting on a ticking time bomb. Thanks for the info. I feel like an idiot.

Did ya miss the post this morning? Morgan's doing some clean-up today to get those batteries in order and get them gathered and safely stored. :)

Batteries you don't screw around with. if the wrap starts coming off, or any abnormaly type of thing. You can try to repair it (for me not recommended), Or Buy new ones (Recommended by me)

I have only been vaping like 577 days, and I still learn things that can make my vaping hobby more safer.

the battery is sealed into the ecab.
the only way to expose it is to tear the ecab apart.
the outer coating covers the container the ecab is in.
the outer coating is what gives the ecab different color schemes.
the battery itself was not exposed.

Hiya Mike! :)

The eCab does have loose batteries: http://www.joyetech.com/product/details.php?gno=116

I know I was surprised when I googled it~! I didn't know Joytech made a PV like that.

I did indeed miss the post. Old age setting in I guess. Glad Morgan has the good info and is going to get it straightened out. NO need for her to feel bad, as long as she's got the info now, that's the main thing.

Let's all be safe with our batteries no matter what we use. I'd hate to come on here and read that an ECF family member blew a hand off one day. Plus YouTube videos of vapers blowing themselves up wouldn't bode well for our campaign struggles against people who want to ban it.

The sick part of my brain is saying if it did happen though, I'd still totally watch that video.... Sorry lol

Morgan (and everyone else who hasn't considered this), it's not just the batteries in our PVs that can be dangerous when abused. Consider the lowly 9volt battery that we have all had kicking around loose in a drawer at some point in time. These batteries have a nasty habit of finding metallic items in their drawer and shorting, setting the random bits of paper (and maybe a lighter or two) floating around with it on fire and burning down houses.

Please take the time to take battery safety seriously, it isn't just the higher powered lithium chemistry batteries we should be paying attention to.
