and perm, I accept the fact that all people are copying GG series by making almost all features for their devices identical to GG. But copying and cloning???
I understand the issue of needing to save money, but there are inexpensive mods, even Chinese, that are not trying to be copies. Youde makes inexpensive devices that don't try to come off as copies of existing mods, as one example. Budget is really not an excuse in my opinion. I would rather have an inexpensive mod with it's own personality than a copy of someone else's work.
There is no way anyone will ever stop china from cloning. They copy so much stuff it is unbelievable. Patent don't always work as china still will clone the .... out of it if they know they an get away with it.
It's only if your a big company can you actually stop china from cloning your stuff but whereas your a small company, you first need the means to patent your work then the heavy dough needed to fight the clones.
I know someone who buys nothing but clones coz they say they don't want to spend stupid amounts on something like a battery tube. Me personally, I've never bought a clone and never will because I like owning high end mods that not many can buy and also for the fact that people call me crazy and stupid lol.......I'm all good though

The Chinese economy is based on cloning, Rolex (just one example) has spent millions throughout the years trying to stop them with absolutely no effect.
Will people stop buying clones? I seriously doubt it, most will continue buying them as they will continue downloading pirated copies of music/movies and thinking they are saving. In reality this tactic hurts our economies as it takes way jobs.

Cloning of products in general has been going on for decades. E cigs specifically still years. And im not saying i agree with it im saying its not something that we can stop. There gonna be around regardless of the publicity because most people dont care. Sure its theft and its not right but morals dont play a huge role in business. And the consumer wants cheap and well built regardless of copying or theft.
And of course i believe what i said about apple its all true lol. There were tablets and smart phones and mp3 players around before any of what apple came out with they just werent as prominent because they werent marketed as much
So they never sold enough to advance as far. None of apples stuff was innovative. And looking at there products and pricing anyone can see how far behind they are with the exception of maybe there computers which your paying 3 times as much for the same hardware you can get elsewhere.
But regardless you can fight boycott demonize try and hide it all you want but its not gonna stop it its just something to accept . This is the way of todays world. Has been for awhile

I have been holding out on buying the Ithaka...the real Ithaka. But now that Imeo has a new base for it I might buy it. I'm more of a
Penelope guy. I keep seeing clones, and with the price point it is tempting. But then I say to myself. It's taking money away from the person that created the original.
Imeo is one of the best in the ecig industry, and he takes the time to personally respond to each of our concerns and questions. That in itself is way better than getting a response from some company who makes clones, looking to make a quick buck from you.
It's sad because I have an over 100 dollar RBA (Penelope) on a 30 dollar ecig. The ecig I use is not a clone. But I'm looking forward for the Proteus.
