Hello there !

Well I'm not know here by any means but as I told in other posts I have been a hard smoker for 15 years at 1 to 2 packs a day and I had quit smoking for about 5 mounths like about 4 years ago when "vaping" was almost a new thing. Then as you can imagine, after fighting with 510 LR atomizers with cotton or tea bags and such, fighting every day I started smoking again after a stressful day.

But then I came back as one of my colleague stopped smoking one day just like that, that made me jealous and envious (we are like that humans) and I remembered about my semi-failed attemped with e-cigs back then... I told myself man there must have been some improvement no ?

Then I was blown away with all the changes, basically all the struggles we have been through have been vanished. Hastle free refilling in most cases, an infinity of choices in PV and e-juices that actually are good (none existant back in the days, now I sound like a dying man)...

So I got myself back in the vape wagon, few spinner batteries, kanger tanks good juice, was realllly easy ! Now I'm here with an MVP 2 and an aerotank and Five Pawns Castle Long inside, all good. And I just ordered a Keyfun clone and stuff to build it because I can see myself just stopping wasting money on coils and it looks so easy to do...

But what I find fascinating is the new thing I see around, cloud chasings ans sub ohmms and all the ridiculous videos online of people breathing out giagantic clouds and really proud of it too. What I mean is that I started vaping to get rid of cigarettes, now it has become quite a hobby in a sense of I am searching for the right, hastle free version of smoking and less expensive if possible. But seeing how it grows for some people is really fascinating. For me it's like one drug has been replaced with another much more time and money consuming than the other... I know I will never get like this, vaping is for work breaks and when in front of computer, and I want a good sensation and a good flavor but going berzerk with it seems strange and kinda scary to me !

I am relatively new to the vaping scene, but agree that the cloud chasers are into something that does not interest me. I am getting into DIY (want to make my own stuff so that I know what is in it, it is "tuned" to my taste, plus, it is fun to create different juices) and just got the material to make my own coils. Not interested in sub-ohming and such, just want to make it myself to save a little money and learn about what we use while vaping. Has it become my new "drug?" Possibly, be at least it is better for me than smoking...
There is local B&M has a monthly meeting of vapers. I have seen photos of the meetings on Facebook and am not interested. There are so many clouds you can't see ten feet! I am older and do not enjoy that type of entertainment...

Yeah of course, I sensed the all "drug to another stuff" was going to disturb some, but I'm on the same boat as you, my hobby / drug now is to find great flavors and the best hastle free, cheaper way to get satisfyed ! But I'm afraid the FDA and such will take good care of the overpowering cloud chasers out there and I think they could have a good point there...

And what point is that??? The FDA could care less about "cloud chasers" which has nothing to do with their intent. They want to destroy vaping completely if possible or at a minimum insure that only BT's products are available. And because of the "apathy" and ignorance of many who vape, they could well accomplish that goal.

No. Cloud chasing is such a small percentage of the vaping population I doubt the FDA even knows what it means and could care less. It has nothing to do with it. Money, power, control and ignorant ideology are the driving forces behind the drive and need to ban vaping nationwide. And due to vapers who are too apathetic to care, they easily could succeed. It will be dead in Europe, also.
