Has anyone tried this? I don't like using noalox. It seems to gunk up after a week or two on my SVD.

$2.90 Multi-Purpose High Thermostability Lubricating Grease - anti-water at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

You might be better off with just vasoline or any other lubricant known to be generally safe. Sooner or later some of it ends up in the vapor and if it's not at least food safe, likely not a great idea. I put a drop of pure PG on the threads every so often. Seems to work fine.

clearomizers seem to be very finicky. some work good some just don't. never tried a clearomizer since my first horrible experience 1 year ago. but im a RDA, RBA heavy user and once you experience that performance chances are you won't be pleased with anything else

Well I hear what you say but have to disagree. I love my Octopus - perfect rebuildable dripper - but I love my x9 and x10 for when you just want it to work without tweaking at all. As an ex tobacco-pipe smoker I know that tweaking is half of the fun - but I also know that sometimes you just want to vape without any thought at all. X9, x10 do this for me - as does a 510 with an ego cone & just dripping. Ymmv.

That looks sweet for the $$...u say it functioning well huh.

Yes, it's about all I use now. If this is your first mech be sure and read up on battery safety. I'm wrapping my coils at 1.5 to 1.6 ohm and won't go any lower than that. On a freshly charged battery at 4.2 volts and 1.5 ohms gives 2.8 amps, still within the discharge rate for the batteries. Be safe and vape on. :vapor:

Don't rebuild at the moment but do see some peeps wrapping at .5 ohms and pushing some batts to the gills living on the edge dangerously...

I read through this tread hoping to find a clue about getting a dripping atomizer from FastTech.

What would be a standard atomizer for a 650mAh eGo-K? All the eGo kits I have ordered came with a CE4 Clearomizer (2.4-2.8 Ohm).

Would this one do the trick:

EDIT: I ordered three to get the price per unit to $1.52.

I have several of these. They drip well when you discard the little tankette and shove a drip tip on.

However I would always use an adapter with these as the atty threads are really rough and could damage your device threads imho.

I have adapters to switch between KR808D-1 and 510 treads. But, I don't think I have an adapter like the one you mentioned. Could you provide a link?

I'm also looking for an inexpensive eGo cone for the atomizer. I couldn't locate one on FastTech. And, It's not clear if this one comes with the end cap:

https://www.fasttech.com/products/1292800

One of the reviews indicated it didn't have an end-cap. I have lots of 510 drip tips, but this appears to need something different.

Well, I got a couple of the Ego-T attys that you mention and yes, an ordinary drip tip doesn't fit them. They came with plastic tips - they gurgle. Not a great fan of these, but at least I bought just two of them.

In terms of adapter a 510-510 will do just fine (or a 510-ego).

Cones are harder to get these days. I've already asked FT if they can try to get some. These guys have them:
