I emailed Jeff at BCV today. He said they will continue to sell everything post 8/8 that they currently sell.

I called them today, because I was on the BCF site and didn't see ANY SC concentrates being offered in the pull down menu. (slight heart attack)

Thankfully, it was just them doing website maintenance. Jeff assured me nothing drastic is going to be happening with any concentrates.....if it does, he'll let the community know well in advance.

Good folks there. :)

Gota say after trying all of hangsens tobacco essences over time, gave hangsen a revisit, tobacco the only one i have not had, on making a Batch and being inpatient after 48hour steep
Wow! at 5% in rta ubertoot subtle sweetness, hint of nut, with a deep rich dark dry tobacco this hits the spot,
tempted to fiddle but more than likely destroy this fantastic blend,

Alright... Pennsylvania incoming laws have pushed me to DIY. I like tobaccos - like, Black Notes, Heathers Heavenly Dragon's Fire and Serendipity. Halo Prime 15 is pretty good...

Sorry for the newbie question, but you'd be saving me hours if researching down rabbit holes of reading (been there already) by giving me a couple recommendations of flavors and/or website to buy from.

Right now I'm building a wish list on "Vaping Zone" and have the Honey Flue Cured Tobacco Super Concentrate in there and looking at a couple by Hangsen. But I'm getting overwhelmed and don't even know if I'm using the best site/vendor or not.

I already have 400ml of 100mg/ml nude nicotine in my freezer, and gonna get more. Probably get their new one with a bit of citric acid too. Planning for YEARS of vaping off the grid. Hahaha.

The only thing I do know is that I like "tobacco" flavors - so this is the thread for me! There's probably a lot u will discover about my flavor profiles over time... (Flavors I didn't know I liked/etc).

Take your time and do the research before you buy. Coupon codes for most vendors are within a nano second Google search. Compare pricing.....Say, Vaping Zone against Bull City Flavors. Sometimes you can't "one stop shop"; i.e. ~ BCF doesn't sell nicotine, but they have a very good selection of flavors at reasonable prices.

Just saying, look before you leap. :)

Read reviews at places like Bullcityvapor.com - order a variety and see what you like. Nobody here can really tell you. We all like different things.

Flavors that seem to have near universal approval include Desert Ship (both the Hangsen and FA versions are well liked), Highway, Dark for Pipe, and Black for Pipe. Arabic is pretty popular as well, though maybe a bit more polarizing. But it's all about personal taste.

Consider each if these "ordered". Haha. Thanks!

I'll likely start here, and branch out if I don't like any of them. I'm gonna snag a bunch of odds and ends flavors to mix into the tobacco for "hints of this or that".

But this helps get my tobacco base going as I have a good selection of well liked ones. Always best to start there!

Guess I'll get some syringes and stuff. Already have a scale. On my way. Haha.

Also Gonna try HS RY1 and RY4. And a few other misc flavors like vanilla, almond, bourbon, and then some fruity flavors like cherry, Apple, and some other odds and ends (guava, watermelon, coconut, Honey, sweetener, marshmallow, guava... Haha.

Funny thing is that the chances of me using any of those fruits are about zilch... But I figured maybe I'll give them a try and maybe try an ever so slightly hint of some of them to my tobacco bases. We'll see.

Getting excited. Funny thing is that all of this is costing really no more than if I sampled a few pre-mixed flavors. And every single one of these are obviously concentrates... Why did I not to this earlier! All the times I've tried juices and thought "wish they made this a little stronger" or weaker, it with this or without that.

In any case - glad to be here!

Oh and I stayed away from anything with the warning... Lol. Not worth it to take any flavoring risks!

Suggest mixing single flavors to start out. Don't go all mad scientist until you've got the individual profiles down.

Haha - good call. I'll shrink this order down significantly... I just keep staring at the cart.

Order placed from Bull City! Spent way more than I intended... But I figure if I find literally one or two flavors out of this entire huge order that I like, the whole order will pay for itself almost immediately.

I mean... Look at this order! "It's gonna be HUUUUUGE."

Let's see if this screen shot is visible. Yes... Went a little nuts (INSANE) on my order? But again - I can't stress enough that if I find one or two flavors I like in here, it will literally pay for itself immediately.

Had to do multiple screen shots due to compression...

Hahaha - you guessed it! (For better or worse), I dive head first into things....

Greatly looking forward to it. And also "sticking it to Pennsylvania". We have them to thank for finally prodding me into it.

Nicotine Salt Solutions - Nude Nicotine

I just called Nude Nicotine to ask about the above. They were VERY helpful and great to talk to! These salts are literally brand new to the market. They got them out before the Aug 8th date. They're "salts" that do things to help the vaping experience I guess?

Anyone else have experience with these or any products like them? I know they were all the talk about what "makes the Juul taste good" (which I have no experience with). They're nicotine bases - not necessarily an "additive".

With me being so new it's hard to figure out what to use where. Haha. But these things have me a bit excited. Not buying anything myself (with zero experience) until I hear some possible opinions from you "experts". :)

I just tested one of my MFS Flavor Art Desert Ship flavorings. I put two small drops in about 20ml of Hangsen Tobacco (almost like plain pg/vg/nic). It's a great flavor. It's a little nutty on the inhale with a hint of sweetness on the exhale. This one's a keeper. Add me to the universal like column on FA Desert Ship. I'm glad I ordered two bottles.

Another plus is that when I blew it toward my wife and asked her what she thought, she said, "Not bad. A little sweet, but that's it". She can smell things that no one else notices. When I try a new juice I wait for her to ask, "What are you vaping?". If she asks, I know it's going to be bad for her senses and a juice that I have to save for when I'm outside. This one passed the wife test!

My scale will be here tomorrow. I ordered the American Weigh scales LB-501 from Amazon. I like the idea of having a pan to catch spills. Eventually, I'll get everything together and start making some juice. I still need to find some squeeze bottles to use with the scale.

That may not happen for a couple of weeks until we get back after vacation. I still have about 500ml of Hangsen left. That's about 2 month's worth of vaping.

It's a bit technical and just a little over my head but what I get from this is salt formulation of nicotine solution seems to control the oxidation properties and lessens harshness of the NIC solution. I think it also means it slows the oxidation process as well but I'm not really sure about that. Depending on which one you choose (hit, signature, smooth) will determine the level of harshness. Think of it this way "High, Medium and low" harshness levels.

Cool. So it's mostly related to the harshness/hit is how we see it? I'm a pretty high nic vaper as it is (12mg/ml or higher) - at like 10-13 watts MTL, so I like throat hit anyway.

So my guess is that my uneducated pallette wouldn't be able to really tell any difference. Especially if it's all in the harshness (rather than flavor profile).

Thus, I'll start with my existing "plain Jane" Nude Nicotine I bought last year that's been in the freezer.

I just ordered a 50ml bottle of the "Signature". I'm hoping there's more to it. Even potentially that the nicotine can get to the blood stream faster in the case of the salts the Juul uses? In any case - I'll try to report back if I notice any appreciable difference between the plain Nicotine base and the Signature.

Since I'm new - it'll be very unscientific, but maybe I'll pick on something, or maybe I won't.. Haha
