I'm beginning to wonder when they invited CASAA and other provaping organizations to meet with the FDA, they were taking notes on what they have to come up with to hurt us in the most complete way.

It seems as though every point that was made about why ecigs work, is being attacked and specifically named in the regulations.

How about that for a kick in the :censored:

Everything that makes ecigs work is everything that makes them NOT a tobacco product. Want to make a square peg fit in a round hole? Shave off the corners, make it a round peg.

My personal feeling is that they have bitten off more than they can chew and their all-encompassing attempt at regulation will fail because they will be unable to prove intended use in a court.

I'll be happy to contribute to such a legal challenge.

And this is why people who Say that Petitions or events like this (which should be coordinated in EVERY Major City in the USA on the same day)...

Vapers March on Washington DC!

... are Wrong when they say that Petitions and Rally's Don't Work.

Because what they Do is send a Clear Message that there is a Group of Individuals out there who have the Ability to Generate a Significant amount of Money to Oppose Something.

If nothing else they show a depth of feeling not present in daily politicking and that is scary.

Vapers like myself are middle-aged (i use the term loosely - no, i don't expect to live to 100, even if i vape Aphrodite's blood) with careers that pay pretty well and no longer spend $400 a month on Marlboro's.

That gives us some financial muscle and since in the end this entire thing is about chasing the money it's time to ask our politicians where they are providing value for money.

A de facto ban on vaping benefits nobody, but what it will hopefully do is unite vapers; i don't care what you vape or how, tootle puff, cloud chase - of no relevance. i do care that you do vape in preference to smoking and i'd like to keep that option on the table.

I can no longer keep up with multiple threads on the same topic, so my last post here.

I give this last piece of advice:

Put your Name to the Front line. We are a tremendously large group of Diverse Vapers, but We are All People. Individuals With NAMES who wish to be identified as being opposed to the FDA's tyrannical attack on the Industry and the Individuals that Depend on its continuation As Currently Is.

Give your NAME and Support H.R.2058
Announce Yourself and Demand your right to civilly Protest the Actions of the FDA

Good luck to us all!

Basically, if vapor products do what, by most accounts, they're intended to do, that's considered a negative in the PMTA process.
That's why we all better be stocked up.
Or the courts better see though all this massive load of crap.

The FDA is not shooting to wound, they are shooting to kill.
Not sure why everyone didn't expect it, but here we are.

They haven't even given any evidence that it's stupid... they don't have to. All they have to do is call it tobacco and watch the parents cower.
And that only works because of the brainwashing.
And the brainwashing only works because of Big Media being complicit in all this.

For many years now, I have blamed Big Media for our problems...
More so than the people driving the bus over us...
