Hypocrites! They make big taxes from cigs AND cancer - they lie about the ecig and anything the gubment does has an evil agenda behind it. When you break down the word government it means Control the Mind. They're very good at it, they've created an illusion most call reality, but it's no where close to being real. Canada has had these pix on cigs for years and they were one of the first to ban eCigs.

Bring on the Lucie.

FDA reveals bigger, graphic warning labels for cigarette packages - CNN.com

Katz- what do the cig packs look like down in oz land?

Sorry Clover, didn't read thread initially as we already have them, and I think they are grosser than the FDA ones.

Personally I believe in positive re-inforcement. There's a saying" energy flows where attention goes". Umm, basically if you believe something is going to happen, it is more likely to happen.

They should add a warning: "Images on this packages are graphic and may be unsuitable for children". Wonder if images like this on any other medium would cause riots and protests.

when the 10:00 news did this story the warned the images they were about to show may be disturbing to children.

i talked with the guy that owns the convince store down the road and he said they are already making shelves that only show the sides of the packs.

I have always found it funny how the tactics employed by hate groups anti-smokers have come down to bullying, peer pressure and ostracism.

You know, all the things we were told as children were used by bad people making you do something you shouldn't do!

What you find on the "other side of the fence"

In Australia they tried the graphic warning pictures & messages. Now they are proposing 'plain packaging'. 'World first' plain cigarette packaging
so keeping the pictures but making all packs the same so that brand image is taken out of the equation. They are also not permitted to display cigarettes, packs are kept in closed cupboards.

Like I care?

WARNING FOUL LANGUAGE AHEAD!!!

I put that because it is about time these scumbags finally decided to put a damn label on these things that speak the effin truth! I am sick of hearing "Oh a pack a day wont hurt" Or my favorite one of ALL ....EN TIME "Oh its lights, they wont harm me as reguar cigs do" BULL....! Lights do the same exact thing as regulars Here is what I want to show you all.

The List of Additives in Cigarettes - Additives in Cigarettes

it is all in lights, regulars, 100's shorts fats everything. So you saying "Oh a light wont hurt me" Stop fooling yourself... It is about time the damn FDA took their heads out of their assses, and stopped relying on cigarette money to run ..... This is getting rediclous with the government we have.

If they want to make money, (Which they make from US working OUR asses off) then start making an "FDA" approved quit smoking item. People unlike me see FDA and jump, me I say "Ha does it give me cancer? Or does it give me an illness?"
