My wife and I are spending the weekend with her brother and his wife, both of which are doctors. Last night I kept going outside to vape but they asked me to stop and that I could vape away inside their home. I have found myself still going outside just because it still feels a bit strange but it is good to know that they do not mind. Also she is pregnant.

as far as current testing shows, the vapor will not affect the Pregnancy adversely. Be very GLAD that you have a couple of doctors that know it's ok. I find that the vapor makes me more anxious when vaping around my parents. I usually use my fan at home and when at their place I tend to aim the vapor away to a corner.

As former smokers we have been brainwashed into thinking we are scum of the earth and that as such we need to hide every time we exhale.
That is so cool that 2 doctors are happy to have you vape indoors in your home. Nice!!!!!
I know how you feel about not going outside feeling weird...even now i try not to vape in non-smokers homes or around kids...i don't do it around kids cos i don't want them to see nic use but that's just personal preference.

I does feel weird or awkward in certain settings. Hence the term ‘stealth vape’. Vaping is pretty inconsequential to bystanders, but appearances can make us nervous.
It's all in the head feeling uncomfortable about my vape vapor. I've blown in people's faces too though. Depends on my mood! Look ,I say, it's NOT smoke. Does it smell like smoke? No, it smells like room freshener or flowers. See? Just depends on the situation or person. I will do same, blow vapor someone's way and ask them what it smells like to them. Especially when it's one I've gotten compliments on.

I had a similar experience...in the dentist's office. He wanted to see what it smelled like and looked like, and told me to go ahead.
Then he dragged an assistant into the office to show her. Then others. I ended up vaping myself a little dizzy while sitting in the chair.
His comment was "Nice. Smells like a mint air freshener."

It's a sign of respect, not fear or shame. You weren't ashamed when you went outside to smoke a real cig, so you shouldn't feel ashamed or weird if it's a vape.
Some vapers are die-hard "I'll do what I want, anywhere I want", and others are a bit more conscientious of their behavior and how it is perceived. Neither are 100% wrong or right. Do what thou wilt, if you feel comfortable.

I'd like to see links to this testing. Otherwise I'd ignore this advice, babies are way too important.
Even though I'm allowed to vape inside at work (away from the customers), I still go outside to vape if the weather is nice. That way I can get some fresh air, and I'm near the front end if the cashiers need me. If I'm in a non-smoker's home or car, I ask first, but it doesn't really bother me to do it as long as I have permission.
It took my wife and I a while to accept inside vaping. She doesn't smoke anymore and would not let me smoke analogs in the house. At first, she did not let me vape inside, but we had a cold snap and she let me vape a little. When she discovered that she liked the cinnamon smell she started letting me vape inside. The rest is history and she will even let me vape inside her car which was strictly off limits to analogs.
A very fair point - a google search shows that from 2009 to 2011 most people would tell you don't do it.

But I was addressing vaping around a pregnant person, not the actual person who is pregnant vaping. I was probably not too clear with such a short answer. I meant to mention current testing such as the testing done with Vapor on heart cells. Or the ones that test the contents of vapor and found it to have almost no nic in it, etc. the CAASA web site has links to most of THOSE:

i just try not to openly vape in no-smoking areas but it depends - sometimes when i am freezing to death by the meat section as my wife is dithering about i have been known to have a sly puff! For my sanity yanno!

I always encourage my wife to inhale as much of what I exhale as possible.
That PG is really good for killing all sorts of bad things that would otherwise make you sick.
And if there is any nicotine in what I exhale...
Which from all known studies indicates there really isn't enough to talk about...
Well, she could also get a nice boost for her memory, concentration, and attention!!
And she might be able to skip her next coffee.
