How often do you replace your filler/plug material?
I've had fun with both scotchbrite and poly in various ADM's. I'm actually back to plain old polyfil, and am still working to get the density just how I like it. All fillers, it would appear, seem to have a finite lifespan.
I'm repacking every few days after the poly doesn't fluff back up any more. I got more mileage from scotchbrite, but my cutting skills made for a bit of a funhouse between flooding and not wicking at all (again, fault lies with me, not the mod).
I've heard concerns over bacteriological buildup, but I think performance would drop before much risk was created (at least in my case).
