Filling blank MaxxFusion Cartos

I fill mine to the maximum and usually have a little gurgling for several hits, which is fine. I have noticed lately that 2 Taryn spins is all I ever need. 30 rotations in the air each spin. Then the filler is moist to the top or close enough that you can't add more than a few more drops. So I always quit after 2 Taryn spins now.

Don't you get leakage out the batt end? If they are so full they gurgle?

I suck on mine very slightly after the spin to eliminate the gargle. Then I set it down to dry for about half an hour. I lay mine on it's side to dry btw. If I do tip end down, then I lose juice.

I am beginning to find some discrepancies with the MaxxFusion cartos myself. Some of them work great and some of them give a burnt taste after 3 or 4 puffs and they are saturated, not dry.

I think that these need some tweaking as they are not consistent like, say a Boge HR Premium which you can pretty much count on being a workhorse at 3.7V

I am sure Leaford and crew will get these figured out and like everything else new they will improve with time.

When they DO work they give off great vapor!

Did these blanks come from the re-stock of inventory or from the original release from MF? I am only interested in the performance of the new ones just released. Thanks

These came from the original release. I have placed an order since the restock but haven't received them yet. I am hoping that they are improved and more consistant. I will post my thoughts next week after I get them and give them a try!

I think the burning liquid is a combination of things. As noted the resistance range is too wide, so some cartos are too low, and with a high voltage battery, like a fully charged batt at 4.2v or a PT at 5v, the combination burns any excess liquid on the coil.

So, i'm tightening the range of resistance, and raising it a little to 2.6-2.8ohms. I think that will address the problem, but I will test it carefully of course.

Leaford, so glad you are back. Do the recently re-stocked MaxxFusion blank cartomizers have the new narrowed resistance range of 2.6-2.8ohms?

After filling your cartomizer, just place it battery end down in any kind of bag, a ziplock, a battery pouch, or even a Leaford Lanyard, and spin it. The centrifugal force forces the liquid to the battery end, leaving room for more liquid!"

Of note, you should make sure that the cartomizer’s battery end condom plug is in before you spin it or a lot of liquid will come out during the spin. I hope this helps.
