There's a thing that people do, that i've done and can be worth doing.
Sometimes fresh cotton has a weird taste, takes a while to break in.
You can accelerate this by firing your mod, letting go and then taking a lighter to the vape. It'll catch fire. You then hold your fire button on your mod to sustain the flame and it looks like your wicks are on fire.
You let go, blow it out, and the wicks are super white with the impurities removed. Helps break it instantly and some have experienced better wicking from it too.
The fire always comes up when i'm rewicking a coil and dry burning it with residual juice in the coil itself. It's normal. But thought i'd throw in the tip above because some swear by it.
