My bad luck then. I have 510 atties that were $3 that I use on 6 V, 8 hours a day that are lasting a week or longer....

its bad luck only emonty. Some faulty parts are common procedure in production line. Its the first time in my life that I have an 901 atomizer for 6 days. Unbelieveable!! I vape 21 hours a day because I almost dont sleep at all as you know xxxxxxaaaaa

Imeo, yes I know, let's see now that I have 9 i atties coming soon my way. The one i 7 that you send me as a replacement I use now is doing very, very well in terms of performance, really top notch :D, let's see what it will do in terms of time...I said 8 hours a day but it is much more then that for me as well

I just went for the i7 at 7.4v on my Grant and can not believe the amount of vapor and flavor I am getting from this thing. wow.... I don't want to get too used to it just yet and spoil my 6v experience. I know that 6v ruined me with 3.7v

wrong thread: first impression i7 ;-) Yes, I am using that all day now for the last two days and I don't want to go back to anything else, I forget the dripping over the AFS because this is really unbelievable sweeet!!! Can you imagine the i7 with 7.4V AND the AFS...Vapn: you can try it, can't you????

Hmmm, well I was testing the i3 for a few days now with a 18650 battery. And I'm not that impressed.

In fact it seems to be very weak compared to the 510 (now that I started direct dripping) in both hit and flavor. Which seems strange to me reading all the comments around.

On 5v passthrough it is better but I'm guessing that's why it died after 3 days.

Gonna give it a shot again later today (forgot my adapter at home) to see how it goes after I switch to it after a few hours of 510.

Anyways the i3 seems to be about the same performance wise to the regular 901 I got from a chinese shop before.

Anyone else in the same boat?

I have 3 more. However I left the 901 adapter at home so I have to wait a few hours.

I'll definitely test it when I get back from work. With a fresh battery.

So yours is stronger? Hmm then it really is strange. I'll also try it on a regular 901 usb passthrough to see if it's something with my connection

I have better coil on them so they last longer and the smoke is much bigger than e.g. TW. Sorry to TW that I compare iatties with them but I was using their atomizers to my AFS and I know the difference.:)

LOL I had the adapter on an atomizer in my jacket pocket

Anyways, vaping on the new i3, so far so good. Seems the other one was faulty.

Still can't say the hit is stronger than the 510, however it's new so I need to give it some time. And the flavor seems to be better so I'm not complaining, great vape.

And this time I won't plug it on the 5v, maybe that also screwed the last one a bit. Need to try the i6 on that :)

The i3 I am currently using took a few hours to really warm up properly. The last one I had didn't do it for me at 3.7V so I kicked it up to 6V. This current one is doing really great at 3.7V - nice long smooth draw, plenty of flavour. I still can't decide which is my favourite iAtty, they are all so nice in their individual ways.

I am currently vaping with an i6 on the TS in the AFS with 2 x CR2 and an i3 on the trans in the beta AFS with an 18650 - total vaping heaven!!!!

I am now cutting my juice down to about 12-14mg and still getting good throat hit, particuarly at 6V with the i6.

Yeah it's doing even better now :)

Emonty, yes my previous i3 also worked nice on the passthrough but it died today after 2-3 days of 5v usage so I'm kinda afraid to put this one in.

I don't have any batteries for 6v so I'll try the i6 on the 5v passthrough instead of the i3. I hope for good things :D

You will be satisfied my friend but not so much as the i6 at 6 volts. But it will be ok:)
