The Cobra is the only thing I have been using since I got it. Only problem is, I want another one!

I completely agree, and thought the same thing. I also use novas which I switched to ushaped mesh wicks, work really well but can not compare to the cobra for flavor, throat hit and taste. I wish they would make one that is travel friendly and I would buy two and be set for any and all gear I need.

O, if anyone has suggestions on genesis style attys that are travel friendly, glass tank, and don't link would love suggestions. I head the DID is pretty travel friendly, not sure how it compares to the cobra, plus i don't think it has a glass tank.

You can definetly get them from Alba Vapours, it is in the UK. Cobra Atomisers and if you use the code ukvapers it pretty much comes out to free shipping.

Also, here soon phiniac should be getting the cobra to sell, including extra parts. There is a thread of theirs where they said they will be getting them in October. Here is their actual website. Phiniac Rugged Pyrex Glass Tanks

Either there was a manufacturing error or the previous owner drilled bigger. The standard caps have a very stiff draw, like sucking a milkshake through a straw stiff.

I'd say it's more like drawing on a regular atomizer. It's tighter than many Gennys, but not golf ball through a garden hose tight.

Ag i must ask your positive that its 1mm ?
Reason being even a 1.2 for my personal draw is a tad on the airy side but the 1mm is "Golden perfect" for me .
I like quality and see titanium as absolute excellent material and been eyeing this for a while now, but being retired i cant make an expensive mistake if that airhole is over 1mm.

Please say it again.
Its a 1mm airhole. lol

So today I had to make a new wick, really need to learn to not make my coils so tight. When I was putting the coil on the center post I notice the bottom nut was loose. I unscrewed it and realized that it is not attached to the bottom, which makes sense since under that is the seal (can't think of the term but so that it doesn't conduct I am guessing.) Well I tightened it back up but when I screw on the top nut to hold the kanthal wire to the center post I notice the bottom nut moves as well now which it wasn't before.

Is this normal? Anyone else notice the bottom nut become loser after awhile? Fix, or is this just how it is?

Really hope this is normal, had one of those frustrating times making a coil that didn't short, so kinda worried the bottom nut may be an unrelated issue but would really suck.

Sorry to quote myself, but I figured what was going on with the bottom nut. I had to hold the center pin at the 510 connection then tighten the nut to make it secure, otherwise it was just spinning the center pin.

A heck of a time with wick and coil today, seriously I had better luck the first time I did it. Finally made another wick, to replace my other one I made today, cause I think the other one wasn't wicking well, and this one is working much better. The coil seems seriously temperamental so using low volts for now hoping it builds up some gunk on the coils and such.

I'm going to make a tutorial for the Cobra this week. Maybe it will help.

It definately wouldn't hurt haha. Really frustrating since I was able to get it working since I got it pretty quickly, and now this snafu. Have it set aside, mesh cut and ready to roll tomorrow to try again. I think my wick is ok, I am getting hung up somewhere with the coil this time for whatever reason, to tight/to lose, seems I hit it all today. Hopefully my novas don't start shorting they have been acting up after a bit to. It has been one of those days with a lot of frustration.

Cobra Rebuildable Atomiser 3ML

Just bought myself one. 36 more left in stock. Just a heads up for anyone who was waiting on them to be restocked. Can't wait to get it!

Posting this in both threads that helped me decide to buy one. I'll go ahead and ask now, which battery (dunno the terminology yet, APV/mod?, like the Provari) is recommended for the Cobra (based on performance and matching/similar looks)? Thanks in advance! :thumb:
