What would be a good choice for a first mechanical mod? Ive researched every mod I could from the cheapest up to the GG line, EA mod which I like, Caravela, etc... Would something like the smok telescopic be worth it? Opinions or personal experiences would help this first time mechanical mod shopper... And a 2 cent fuse... worthwhile investment? Or unnecessary if rba runs fine on my vv mod.. Thanx

I know a few people who have the new Smoktech Natural..For the money (about 60 bucks) they all seem to like it
Thanx for the advice... Would you say its a better choice than the smok telescope? I am a fan of the pinky style button... Just unsure which is a better choice... Or does it just come down to personal opinion?
Smok "The Natural" is a solid option and most moders here can help you out with is should you even need it.

I think personal opinion on the button. I thing the natural is a upgraded version of the telescope.
I just got the EA mod yesterday and I havent tried it yet, Im still waiting for my Kick in the mail before I fully test it out. It looks really nice and is a solid APV. I saw that natural and I have heard good things about it, a buddy of mine just ordered it so I am anxious to see how it is. Good luck finding the caravela or the gg unless you go in the co-op. If you are looking for a high end pv that is available then the EA is a good choice.
put the kick in the bolt and the only thing you will ever care about is the kind of atty you will use.
put a kick in a mech and you just roundabout bought a VW apv - minus the screen and buttons lol
Have in mind with a kicked mechanical you are limited to 10 watts max. Which IMO is no fun. 
I've been looking for a reasonably priced mechanical mod for a little while now. What I found out about the Smok Telescope is that the button is fragile. I get the feeling it's more the SS version as opposed to the chrome, but that kept me away from it.
I have heard great things about the Natural.
One thing i still dont understand is why people use mech mod instead of something like a VAMO or Zmax. Of course, mech is unregulated, so you can build an ultra low resistance coil and get a really hot coil going. But with the high voltage available on say a VAMO, you can get plenty hot with a 1.4 ohm coil. The second reason is that mech are durable, i suppose that is a legitimate reason, but you know, just, like, dont drop your damn $60+ devices!!

You should really try a mechanical mod with a 1 ohm coil, and you would know why.
I will when i get the chance. But in terms of wattage, mech with a 1 ohm coil is less than 14 watts. I havent tried it yet, seriously because im scared my wrecking my brand new VAMO, but at 6 volts on a 1.4 ohm coil, thats like 27 watts...
It's all about clean unregulated power. The 33Hz PWM-power from the Vamo does not hit like a mechanical mod. Hope you get to try one soon.
The Vamo pulses between 0 and 6Volt to achieve an average of whatever you set it too. It basically switches between on and off 33 times a second, and the power is determined with how long the "on" is compared to the "off".
A Provari does this 800 times a second instead of the 33 of a Vamo(and other similar mods), which explains why many prefer the Provari set at the exact same volt/wattage, as it gives off a more clean flat line if you watch it on a oscilloscope.
