Hi all, I just purchased my first Leo (first upgraded PV) and could use some basic instructions.

All I have used prior to this is a SmokeTip with prefilled cartomizers. I've been vaping for less than a month.

When I take my Leo out of the box (so exciting) is there anything i have to do before i use it? Blow something or fill something? I watched some videos, and it looked like they just assembled and used.

I have never dripped and don't really know what that is.

I don't know what dry vaping is or what to clean or when.

I'm a safety girl and would like to use preventive maintenance rather than try to trouble-shoot after the fact.

What's in the carts that come with it?

Do i have to remove the liquid or add flavor to them?

How much liquid do they hold?

I've read/viewed a few different things about caring for and cleaning but they all seem different.

Are they still having trouble with the atomizers? On avg, how long should an atomizer last?

Does Boge make any recommendations for maintenance?

I will have a total of 2 batteries, 4 atomizers, and 10 carts, should I get more of anything?

I bought 130ML of e-juice, is that avg, too little, too much for a months time? I've gone through 100 prefills with my current unit.

I seem to be on my pv all the time but i have never experienced a hot tip or leaking with my current model and wouldn't know what to do in either case.

Are there certain juices or mixes (PG/VG bases) that work best in a Leo or can I use any e-juice?

Can we get a technical sticky for this sub forum?

Sorry for asking so many questions. I am really excited about this upgrade and want to make the most of it.

Thank you~

The cartridges that came with both my Leo kits were absolutely horrible!

You can try 1 to see if you like them.

Other than that, I rinsed the cartridge out and filled it with blue foam and some juice.

To drip, drop 2-3 drops of juice directly on the atty and use the mouthpiece to vape.

Make sure not to dry out the atty...that's how I blew my Leo atty.

There is also a Leo sub-forum, try posting there for more help.

My Carts came empty and hold 25-30 drops when dry. The filler is easy to rinse and dry(paper towel works fine) and put back.

I've had no serious trouble with the atomizers, and they can be returned if you have trouble (see Jackal3's thread).

I clean my atomizers (with hot water) after about two days use. I blow the hot water through the atomizer to clean it. Let them dry upside down for a day or two, then just prime it with a couple drops of juice and you're good to go. It takes a few puffs to get back to full strength.

I'm also not good at dripping so others here can help you with that.

If you don't want to mod the cart (I've had mixed results) I'd recommend 90% or 100% pg juice. It wicks much better then vg and the atomizer needs cleaning less often. After using up the cart a couple times you will need to fuss with the filler a bit and eventually (after maybe five or six refills) clean it out. When the cartomizers come out I'll try switching back to 50/50. Drippers seem to have success with pure vg...

I think you have plenty of supplies.... I'd want another 5-10 blank carts just in case (but I'm experimenting with about 30 flavors -- pear and black cherry are my current favorites).

I'm also new at this (about a month) so I'm no expert, but I think the Leo is great! It completely replaced tobacco for me....it just packs so much more punch then the kr808 I picked up later. I hope you find it as satisfying as I do.

Read this forum and you will get a lot of useful tips.

Hi, thanks for responding

Are they flavored or just pg/vg?

Other than that, I rinsed the cartridge out and filled it with blue foam and some juice. Rinse with water? Blue foam - the marine stuff?

To drip, drop 2-3 drops of juice directly on the atty and use the mouthpiece to vape.

Make sure not to dry out the atty...that's how I blew my Leo atty. How do you keep the atty wet?

I thought this was the Leo sub forum?

OH, my bad...sorry...been a long day...you're absolutely correct, this is the right place to post.

- I have no idea what the juice ratio is that is in the cartidges
- yes, rinse with water; yes, marineland blue foam -- never worked for me though...has worked for others
- keep the atty wet by juicing it up...but not flood it

No matter what I tried, mine would leak...then leak through the battery to the usb...but that's just me.
