Remember the fev is a great single coil dripper too. Really nice actually, doesn't leak as bad as all others I have tried. You get both and can swap at will.

I really think I'm going to order that wireless base kit that's out now.. Looks awesome.
I found my original year and half tobecco base is starting to weep juice through the socket pretty good. Left it sitting in dripper mod for like a week. The juice all leaked through the 510.
For a $20 full kit it lasted a long time, still fully usable but a good excuse to park it in backup. And order another. Gave one v3 to my friend so now I only have two..

Same here, only two v3s left.
Never did get my v3 from Focal to work w/out leaking in tank mode, no issues w/ original dripper kit.
One more v3.5 full kit me thinks in ss, clear tanks are way cheaper from Focal.

Which kind of titanium builds would you recomend to v3(original) in tank mode or v3(focal) in dripper mode while using Evic vt mini?
I don't crazy build much. My preferred coil regardless of metal.. is 2.5-2.7mm, 8-9 spaced wraps, using 28.
Stupid feeders not wicking enough after a dryburn.

I do wonder if burning some liquid be in order to get em to wick or just make new ones.

I have never found a reason to clean the mesh while in use.
What I ha e found to be a main source of leaks for me, as well as slow feeding is the mesh placement.
If it's not close enough or touching the wick it can flood.
If it's too smashed down in the wick it won't feed.
This happens on Rewick because the tails may be thicker, different coil diameter, coil is in a different position, or just the mesh got moved.
I like it to where I can just barely tell they are touching the top of wick.

Only lurking so far, maybe I'll have something to contribute later as I just got my v3 clown (Hotcig) yesterday.
So I thought I'd change it up a bit. I'm kind of spoiled with the "big air" atties so after reading various posts here I went screw less. I offset the coil a bit towards the air hole. I now have what I want from it.
Here is how I run the air screws in and out after loosening with a screw driver, I do the same with small Phillips had screws. Just clip off the end of a round tooth pick till you get proper fitment.

My air plug is removed on my Hotcig v3, the 2.7 mm NiFe coil is way over towards the air hole (legs a bit long).

Keeping the thread alive. I just now tried another tank and put the FEV down for a bit.. The bachelor tank is threatening it's post. Only bad thing is I can't pour directly from big bottles like the FEV, have to use a dropper bottle to fill bachelor..
