I recently purchased a few bottles of FW 4-8 oz flavors all of them being fruits and some desert like strawberry green apple, yummy berry raspberry ,banana, cheesecake ,custard ,etc
I can t vape pg so I'm max vg also did a first batch on 15% and this stuff is gunking up my coils in the aromamizer supreme the griffin and the augvape boreas too
I m vaping around 40-50 wats 15-20 ml of juice a day...3mg
What is the percentage you use these flavorings for single fruit ones lets say,and in combination lets say a strawberry +custard ?

There are some that use them that high, but for single flavor fruit I start at 5%. Some things like caramel take more to taste, but are better flavors to mix with others anyway for that reason. The only time I end up 15% or higher total flavor is when using things the flavor maker could have put in one bottle, for example candy apple from apple, maltol and sweetener, where if I used a candy apple flavoring it probably wouldn't have taken that much. With actual mixed flavors, not additives, the better combinations tend to make flavors pop out without needing a high total flavoring though.

I have found that reducing flavor concentration has an exaggerated effect on gunking, what might seem a gunky flavor can be just fine once you use a bit less. As if the unflavored part has a cleaning effect that can be overwhelmed by too much flavor.

Hi and welcome to the DIY forum. Not a tank expert, but understand that high VG and tanks can be tricky. As to FW mix ratios ,5% is a good mix starting point for non sub ohm coil(s) [not sure if sub ohm'g effects mix %'s w/ Flavor West]. Perhaps someone might come along who has a better grasp of tanks sub ohm'g and builds {mix %'s w/ Flavor West].

Tanks and VG Vs PG in regards to percentages don't make much of a difference but subohm does because they do run very hot which contributes to clogging with sweet flavorings or NETS. Look at it this way. Take pure sugar and heat it and notice it turns brown and carmalizes. This is also what happens with sweet vapes. those sugars carmalize and deposit on the coil and saturate the wick. Also NETS have more natural sugar as well as natural tobacco solids then chemically derived tobacco flavoring which also will burn on to coils. A lower wattage or higher coil ohm configuration will help get a little more time out of the coil and wick but rebuilding more often is still going to be a fact of life for the sweeter vapes that all us sweet desert, fruit and candy lovers will have to put up with. Reducing the flavor percentage and avoiding adding additional sweetener will also help.

@dj_Adam21 How did 5% work out for you in Max VG?

I use 10% flavor + 2% saline for inhalation + 3mg (VG) nic max VG for myself.
    I can only tolerate 10% PG @ ~22ml/day

I use 13% in 70PG or 16% FW in 50/50 or 18% in 60VG or 20% in 70VG when I mix for others. I found those to be maximum flavor saturation.
Jason (FW's owner) said all of their flavors are designed to work at the same concentration.

I use Aromamizers or Boreas ~.25Ω @ 69W and need to scrape the crud of my coils about once a day and rewick every 25-30ml depending on the flavor but I'm vaping for flavor not convenience.

I just reordered some flavors but I'm trying a couple of new to me also.
Anyone tried FW Blue Raspberry or FW Butterscotch Ripple?
The others in this order are tried and true favorites at my percentages
    I sometimes use 75/25 Toffee Cream/PB and 75/25 Cinnamon Roll/Caramel Candy
Otherwise all single flavors. Simple & tasty.

Really depends more on the specific flavoring, less on the brand. I haven't done a lot of single flavor mixing with FW, but their VC is fine at 10%, their banana is rather overpowering at 5%, their Menthol is comparatively weak (to other brands) at 5%, and I can barely taste their butterscotch at 15%. YMMV obviously.

I have butterscotch ripple. Bought it for one recipe. Smells great, haven't tried it single flavor.
