My Vamo is going strong, but that is prolly because I only use it to rebuild, but I did use it to vape with my kayfun for a little bit last week, and it was a good vape. I never had any problems with my APV's performance, it was a really a size issue that made me toss it to the side. Even in 350 mode the Vamo is very big

It wouldn't surprise me if one day I got a pipe mod, and I actually kind of like the hammer ... it may be good to have one because just as you said about the kayfun Mini, I think the Taifun GS might look better placed on a pipe. I like the GS, but it looks strange on mechs, so I don't use it at all.

Love the Hammer in 350 mode. It's my number one vape with a kayfun right now. The only problem I've had with it is if you try to subohm too low the spring in the 510 will get hot and collapse. I'm sure they did that on purpose for safety though.

I imagine, subohm'ing an 18350 isn't very safe.

I Don't recommend the Kamry K1000. I have one and it looks nice and feels nice, but it has major issues that make it unsafe. Unless of course they have fixed it. I've had mine for quite a while.

Thanks for that bit of advice .. I don't know why kind of pipe mod I would really go for just yet, but I am gonna look at a bunch of different styles. I think I will definitely put one pipe mod set up on my "wish list", it will be good to "round out" my collection, I am a true playa after all

Well then its a good thing that I am not a sub ohmer :p .. I have dabbled a bit (.7-.8), but it was too hot for me

Don't trust my numbers, always know your own batteries rating and do your own math, and don't blow your face off.

They need to start doing something about the "don't blow your face off" people. It's just fear mongering bs that doesn't happen.

In other news, has anybody received the Focal 4nine? It might be my first purchase from them.

Still waiting .. In fact I was just about to post to clarify the differences between those listed on the FC site ..

The 4nine priced at $23 is the one with the engraved button, and I also believe it the same one as the old listing for $34. The one that is one Group Buy and regularly priced at $21 has a laser etched button, everything else is the same.

Same for the brass Female 4nine, this one has a laser etched button, and a white delrin insulator in the top cap.

ETA: I understand where you are coming from with regard to the "fear mongering" as this is how I feel about the brass hysteria, but for record sake, it has happened in the past where a vaper blew part of their face off while vaping, and it happened to a member here at ECF a few years ago, and left him in seriously critical condition. I was a member here when it happened, and I will never forget it ...

Now I don't remember what mech mod the member was using, and to be fair I believe the thermal runaway ocurred with a LiFeP04 battery type, but the point is that this particular "fear" is not founded in BS.

Just because it doesn't happen certainly doesn't mean it can't, if a battery thermally overloaded in a mod without proper venting it could explode....violently.

All it takes is one time.

I actually agree with you, however, I don't want recommend something, then have someone with a defective or counterfeit battery hurt them self because "Some guy on a forum" said it was fine. I would rather everyone make their own decision on how much risk they are willing to take on based on their own assessment. The shower is the riskiest place in the house, I still bathe.

Sorry for off topic.

But finally home. After 2-3 days at the hospital, baby and mamma are home and in good health  :). So glad to be back on my own bed. The hospital ones sucks.

Get to build the Taifun and Fogger. Will see how they are. Been itching to get to them. ;)

After seeing y'all talk about Kayfun Nanos and such I had to get me a set to convert. :) I know.....I know. But I had to. For celebration ordered some unflavored WTA from Aroma. So so good. But while in the hospital I was ordering hehe :matrix:

Those were cases of stacking battery's though, right? That's totally different and doesn't happen anymore. It's also 2 cases among literally thousands.

How many thousands of K 100 kits with generic ICR battery's have been sold? How many are sub ohming? How many incidents? By now it's pretty obvious that the dangers have been greatly exaggerated. You're more likely to have an Ego over charge on a charger and go into thermal runaway than battery in a mech.

We love off topic baby news! This is so awesome Weezy, and just in time for Father's Day too! Glad to hear that mom and baby are home, and that you can sleep in your own bed now

And of course you got a Kayfun nano kit, I wouldn't expect anything less Weezy! :p Now what is this about WTA (whole tobacco alkaloids)? I remember Burnie I think inquiring about this a little while ago. I have heard of WTA, but I don't really know much about it.

And you are a true playa Weez, a hospital stay, and new baby couldn't even slow down your shopping game!

Lol. Thanks Nikki. I just couldn't help myself. WTA (Whole Tobacco Alkaloids). Yes. Good stuff. If you get Unflavored 100% WTA you can DIY and add a little in the current juices you have. (29 bucks for 15ml) I like it straight. Just add a little. Then they have WTA infused juices already. Makes you vape less (12 bucks) ECF for coupon!!!. Yes.....less. Makes you put it down and have that sensation feeling that you had enough. Like smokes in the morning if you remember get that "high" feeling. Does the same. A little spendy but well worth it. The guy that created and extracted is on the forums as well.

Damn Drifter ;) introduced me to WTA. Thanks boss.
