My experience: I thought I'd try this place but never again. I've bought several King Mods from Fasttech and they've been good quality items and normal Fasttech shipping. I ordered one from Focalecig just to try them out and it was a piece of crap!! The Fasttech ones are nice, heavy solid brass or stainless steel. The one I got from Focalecig was some sort of plated junk that was really lightweight and took FOREVER to get here!! IMHO, stick with Fasttech!!
Well, did you email them and tell them that the quality was not up to snuff?? I would have .. They appreciate honest feedback, and they are a new company and do not necessarily know, or understand what we the consumer consider to be the "good one" vs the "bad one" so to speak. Not all aspects of the consumer market (countries aside from US and UK) have a problem with chrome plated devices, and the like. So it would help them to know that a chrome plated King Mod is not gonna cut it.
Its the same with stocking "particular" manufacturer clones such as the HCigar Taifun GT ... I am positive that just a short while ago they didn't know the difference between a Rainbow Heaven Taifun, vs a HCigar Taifun GT, or how it much the difference matters in the mind of the consumer. Now, based on customer feedback they know that HCigar is the more desirable clone manufacturer, and they are lucky that they just so happened to be carrying that clone.
That is why I had encouraged a particular member who had interest in the HCigar Taifun, to email Focalecig and make sure that they were restocking the same exact clone, by the same exact manufacturer. In the eyes of the vendor, if its stainless steel and branded Taifun GT, then its all good. But in the eyes of the consumer, no, its not all good to just have a ss clone from whatever manufacturer.
Being that they deal with "suppliers", and not directly with "manufacturers", inventory is purchased by spec and style, not by manufacturer brand. When they need to restock Taifun clones, then they seek out a supplier claiming to supply stainless steel Taifun GT clones, and who the "manufacturer is" of that clone is not necessarily part of the spec request ... unless they know it needs to be. ;-)
Focalecig is learning that in order to satisfy consumer desire, and demand, in fact it does matter what manufacturer is making the clone, and what materials need to be used in order for it to be considered acceptable, and satisfactory to the consumer. This is exactly how Fasttech became the Fasttech that we know today... consumer request, demand, and feedback.
