VAPELYFE clearcoated copper and SS (maybe - will buy copper first and see). Preferably the "Tesla" one (2 different manufacturers from what I could tell - the other one carried SS and brass). No rush. I think I'm buying The First first from the other place...

I knew that about the Manhattan - just thought there might've been an error somewhere, so double-checking.

Yea, that is right .. I just skyped it to her :D

Nikki, aside from it being so fugly and not matching anything, do you know anything about the Veritas that FC carries? Wanna try one real bad.

The only thing that I know is that it has deep juice wells, that its made for vertical builds, and it can be a pain to build on .. ask halfempty, I think he as one. He'll chime in as soon as he gets his nightly whoopin

Aww .. I bet you can make nice porn  Are you afraid to use your Red like me? I am so silly, and need to get over it ... I have been using the Copper only for the last few hours.

I put a battery in the red one and put a dripper on it and then took about three vapes on it. Then I broke it down, put it back into the plastic sleeve it came in and put it back in the box.
I honestly do not think I am going to use it until the Christmas season. I will probably drag it out after Thanksgiving and start using it. It just reminds me of Xmas so much.
I am probably lying about waiting until then to use it, I just don't know. I am like you, it is almost too pretty to use and take a chance of messing it up.

Now the copper one is going to get a workout for sure. I have already carried it out of the house twice on road trips this afternoon and tonight. I plan on using it daily for sure. I think I am going to get a second copper one a little later on. I will hold off on ordering for now and give others a chance to get one. I may even consider getting a black one. These mods are so well built and the price is right.

I agree about those ears on the snap ring, I actually sanded the edges with wet/dry when I took the switch apart yesterday .. but I forgot to mention that in my initial impressions. The switch one the Copper also has a more "metal to metal" when engaging the switch, it felt much better after I took wet/dry to it for stain removal.

And I forgot to tell you guys that I dropped my switch on the kitchen floor yesterday, and today I noticed that I had a slight ding around the circumference of the switch  Its not bad at all, pretty small, but it reminded me of how soft copper is.QUOTE]

What?? Now mr. fumbles doesn't feel so bad LoL. Right now I'm vaping on that smushed vision spinner 2 that I dropped in the driveway and the wife ran over, it's still kickin it!

I have a Veritas clone by Tebeco. I got it off of Ebay before FC started offering them.
It was a little hard to build the first time as it is different than other drippers. But after figuring out how to do a build on it, the next time will be a easy. I am running dual vertical coils with a final ohm reading of .65 ohms. It gives great flavor and a good amount of vapor(would not call it a cloud chaser"s dripper). I have heard of others using single vertical and single horizontal coils in it.
The best trait it has is it does not leak. You can lay it down and it will not leak. You can drip juice into it through the air hole and it holds a lot of juice.
It is a good dripper to carry out of the house.

Nope, not yet (the Veritas I mean), it's sort of next on my list. Veritas, Taifun, Stingray, SS Paps. Not sure what order.

The Veritas is a weird design that's meant to hold a lot of juice without spilling at most angles. It can also be filled from the large single air hole in addition to traditional methods. The "official" build method is dual vertical coils, but if you look on youtube you'll find single, dual, vertical and horizontal.

ETA: Took too long replying, but Portertown explained it much better ^^ :)
I'll definitely be getting one as funds allow, the Magma came first.

I will get a card one day even if only to qualify me as a lurker....LOL

Dang I missed out on the manhattan Been kind of tied up lately and had some things come up that has taken priority over my vape money...it's all good though there is always next week :)

Been wondering where you were girl. I though you had dropped off the face of the earth. How is that box mod doing?
If you want to see one of the Manhattan clones come by the vape shop tomorrow after lunch. I will be there with my copper one and you can check it out. I will also be there Sunday afternoon after three o'clock as I have to talk to Wilson for a bit.

I'm waiting for china or Angelcigs to sell their new 17mm Kayfun Mini seperately now for my 14500 neme lol.
You mean the one that was custom made to go with the iVOGO 14500 mod? I am sure if enough folks request it they will start to sell the 17mm Kayfun Mini separately ... they are sending me one for review btw. :p
Speaking of Nemi... I've already mentioned that the current group buy is an all copper Nemi for under $14. Well they put the previous stainless steel with gold plated accents (lock ring and top cap) back in another group buy for under $17. So now you can try a Nemi for under $20 in either stainless steel or copper.

Nikkita6, can you talk to Doris about 17mm toppers, RDA like the Anima, Gennys like the DID, or the 17mm version of the Ivogo Kayfun mini? I can order elsewhere but I really feel like focalecig is the one China warehouse that at least gives half a care about its customers so I'd like to support them.

My preference would be the Kayfun mini in 17mm, but I wouldn't mind a dripper but the whole mesh for wicking a Genny overwhelms me.

That sounds like a nice, peaceful getaway :) .. I am a little disappointed that there were no fanny packs or thongs though
It would be peaceful, if it weren't for all the beer and wine, and that fear that the world will end and you have to drink EVERYTHING until the last drop.

Other than that, pretty peaceful.

Don't worry Art, if you can learn, then I can teach you :D  Lesson #1 - good lightening is essential, and if you don't have a well lit room, or a light box, then outdoor lighting is best. As soon as the Spring weather arrives, I always shoot outdoors .. there are certain rooms in my house that absolutely suck for shooting vapeporn, no matter how many lamps I fill the room with.

Glad to hear that you are good to go on the switch too. :) I can't wait until Nailz gets his so we can confirm that all the black are like yours ... I am wondering if Acerig mixed the black one's that they sent FC?

Great Nikki! I will follow your instructions before my next vapeporn
Now, a little update, for those that purchased the black Manhattan and haven't received it yet:

Yes, it is the ACERIG one. Same box, a bag with 3 extra copper contacts. No paint in threads! No logo on mod's body. Mod only weights 3 OZ.
Button feeling was really bad (not because the long throw). It was very crunchy. Solved it with graphite lubricant, as I said in another post. Easy fix.

Now I can say I like it very much!

I think Im gonna try a Quad Coil Paperclip build since theres so much room :) (JK but it would be possible with this dripper LOL)

Was putting it on different mods to see which mod I would like to run this on but once I put this combo on I immediately thought of Nailz, so this vape porn is for you buddy ;)

Since I'm in a vape porn mood I thought I would snap a couple pics of the Heron on its permanent mod that I got in yesterday :)
Cant wait for the 18650 and 18350 versions to arrive soon enough LOL

 I did the EXACT same thing with my Red as well, popped in a battery took a few vapes, and then put it back in the box :p I also vaped my Copper until the coil on my Mephisto popped at around 12am  I was so annoyed, I had just loaded up some Yummy Guava

FYI, for anyone interested in the upgraded Kanger coils, I just started using the 1.5 replacement heads that I bought and they are no where near as good as the 1.8 heads that came with it, so needless to stay I am disappointed. I have to go update my Review too. I hoped that this wouldn't be another Aspire ET-S situation where the stock coils are amazing, and then all the replacements suck. These are too expensive to suck. :( I am on the 2nd one already, just popped it in this morning and it is already getting janky.

I had hoped that this plug n play would carry me for a bit because I need that convenience right now .. But it ain't looking that way. Not sure I want to chance getting a pack of 1.8 to see if they are better.

No, I meant LIKED.

OK, Mr. Technical...I forget what the name of that tense is, but I was taught that the verb after "I thought" should be in the past tense... now go have another! :thumb:

Um, Nikki, if you're still up, http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-vaping-discussion/507143-focalecig-new-fasttech-862.html#post13911503

 I was actually up until 5:30am ... revealing the Devil :glare: Sigh, I tried to give some folks the benefit of the doubt, and a second chance to start a new, and straight out of the gates they mess it up, SMDH. Everything I do is in the spirit of helping and giving, but there are those who are only motivated to take, steal, deceive, and its a shame.

I know that is a cryptic comment, but the rest will be revealed at an appropriate time. Some people are just soulless and cannot be helped, or saved. So much for second chances.
