Just got a King clone that FC has on sale for $16 (I'm cheap). Haven't had time to test it, but so far I like it. Seems well built, smooth threads and clean, but definitely NOT a 1:1. Some people might get turned off by this, but so far it's my favorite part. Here's a little Frankenstein porn.

LOL. Right now my search is dripper quality flavor and vapor but tank design. I need airflow :). I like the look of the ehpro pontus and I might check it out but I read a newer version is coming out with a better built center post. Maybe a kayfun type device with large airholes on deck and on the side. ;). I tried drilling my kayfun out but as long as that hole on the deck and pin is small it won't matter. I have tried multiple other tanks and none suit me....I love dripping but would love to have something like a dripper with a tank to carry when I travel or go out and about. I have the RSST with too cap drilled out and I like it but me and the genesis type devices just don't get a long well. I know....I am picky but I have earned that right....LOL
I have seriously been looking at a reo but would prefer to spend $40 compared to $160 to get the vape I want.
So chop chop! Hehe

OMG  Well I guess I have my work cut for me  Actually, I know that Doris was looking into the EHpro Budhha, which I really like. So I can ask her to ask the Pontus to the list if the people really want to see this item. I for one want to review it because if the dripper tank concept is as successful design then I see this becoming huge ... I want to review "different". So I will D-nice take a look into the Pontus :)

I can always count on my darling cat for off beat porn  Doesn't look too shabby my dear :) .. Did you ever get the Nemmy Mini for those batts you have laying around?

Literally just started using the iVOGO BABY that I am reviewing about 30 mins ago, and I must say that I am really liking it. I was leary of the switch because I hear that the full size Nemmy has a crunchy switch, but this button is smooth and light so far. And I like the vape on this 17mm Kayfun Mini better than the 2.1. Love that the set up is also considerably shorter in 14500 mod than a Kayfun Mini and Ego twist combo. Have it built at 1.5 ohms and it hits very nice ...

My 1st mech was the king clone, paid $45 from a local B&M store here, nice solid mod, I don't use it anymore due to all my black mods, but still sitting proud as my 1st mech :D

What is it about a first mech that is hard to let go of? I haven't used my first mech since the month after I got it, but somehow I am really attached it ..

I'm interested in the Pontus and the Orchid, but neither come in black

Yea I don't use it, as brings out my metal allergy, but has sentimental value for me, so it's not going anyway and sits on my vape stand proud :D

Yes I got the Nemmy when it was on a group buy a little while ago, but since I don't have a 17mm tank I have it breaking rule #42 with a Protank. If they start selling the baby Kayfun I may have to consider it.

In case anybody is interested the King FC is selling in the Promotions page is a 22.5mm tube with M20.5x0.5 threads. None of the normal Chi You / King stuff will fit, but a lot of the Nemesis stuff does. Go figure.

I picked up the Ivogo Baby combo set when they lowered the price to $34. Since just the 17mm Kayfun mini is $25 I figured at the price of just $9 for the stainless steel Nemi, it'd be a cheap backup.

General impressions of it vs both the Ivogo and Tobeco Kayfun mini (14mm)...

You get a bit less than the mini. The standard chimney, chamber, base, top cap, drip tip and a clear and stainless lower tank section. The mini has in addition an extended chimney allowing you to configure it as a 3 piece tank for more volume at the cost of length. The Ivogo, both 17mm and mini include a 10ml needle tip bottle that fits into the bottom fill port. The Ivogo mini has an oversized clear section. This allows the e-liquid to fit between the wall of the chamber and the inside of the clear tank section. The walls of the plastic section are thicker because the weaker plastic vs metal tank material. This causes an issue with the Tobeco mini and the Ivogo 17mm. Fluid won't flow from the metal tank section(s) to the clear section because of lack of clearance. You can put your finger over the airflow hole and suck to get liquid to trickle into the clear section. So only the Ivogo mini works properly. You can work around the problem on the Tobeco mini by using the clear section as the middle part of the 3 section extended mode. I believe but haven't tried (and can't test because everything is full of juice now) that if you reverse the top and clear sections, as in use them upside down vs just reversing the assembly order, that you may get the 17mm to work. The machining on the base looks awful compared to either mini. But the exterior finish is nicely polished. Threading is a bit rough and again either mini has better threads. None are awful or crunchy.

General impressions of the baby mod vs a copper Tobeco Nemi and the stainless steel mixed Nemi offered by focalecig in their group buy vs the 5 full sized Nemeses clones I own...

As far as the Ivogo baby mod, well its a pretty standard stainless steel Nemi, mini Nemesis, with brass top cap and lock ring. Placed next to the Nemi that focalecig offered they look identical except for the bright gold colored accents on the focalecig version and brass on the Ivogo. The Nemi has the standard Atomaxi (sp?) Death Angel. The baby has a rather large Ivogo written lengthwise on the tube. Personally I'd have much preferred the Ivogo to have no logo if it wasn't going to get the death angel. Switches are comparable across all and nicer than the stock full sized Nemesis switches on the 5 different versions from various manufacturers that I own. They aren't as nice as the full size switches after a bit of work and magnets but close.

    Same here.
My 1st mech was a brass King clone that I think I paid $40 for from a friend. I was so scared of a mech mod that I put a Kick in it. I have not used it for a long time, but I keep it sitting with my other now unused vape gear.
It is funny looking back at how green I was with mech mods when I got this mod. I now build below .2 ohms and feel very comfortable doing so, but still keep safety as a priority.

Have you tried the Orchid? I heard a version 2 clone just came out.
I have not tired the orchid but will look into it

I'll suggest the latest iteration of the Fogger V4, V4.1 as they call it although they've made 3 prior changes to the V4 that they didn't grace with new version numbers. The deck isn't as nice as the Orchid but it holds more than twice as much e-liquid, making it a halfway viable Kayfun replacement. The 2ml the Orchid holds won't keep any sub-ohm dual coil user happy for any reasonable length of time. There are 2 huge threads here about the Fogger if you want to read more about them.

They really shine for me compared to the Kayfun when using flavors with a creamy or custardy component. They're at least equal in flavor with more vapor for all the various types of flavors I've tried.

I have tried a couple different foggers that my friends had and was not that impressed although it could have been their build.

    Thanks all,mr or the suggestions!

Yeah I figure the pontus is worth a shot. I will keep an eye out for it on the website. ;) I have heard good things about the buddha too but I don't currently have a 26650...although perhaps that gives me good reason for one....LOL. I am trying to turn over a new leaf. I am pretty happy with the line up I have right now and if i could get me a couple of good tanks then I might be set for a while.....maybe :).

You can buy the Kayfun 17mm only ... One issue though, whether you fill from the top or the fill port, about 2.5mls of elquid gets trapped in the upper part of the tank and it will not come down. The tolerances are too tight ... the threads for the upper tank are so thick that there is no space between the threads and the chimney, so all the liquid gets stuck. That is too bad because the 17mm Kayfun is otherwise a nice vape.
