Ahahahaha ... Hi Burnie, and welcome, my name is Nicole, and I am addicted to on line window shopping, and purchasing high powered batteries for Mods I don't even own. I have six open tabs on my web browser for all vape related items/subjects. I used to enjoy a wide variety of activities however, these have all been abandoned in favor of my vaping obsession. I also feel agitated when Phil Busardo takes too long putting out his next video review.

Anyone else? ....

 You ARE SO LUCKY!! I heard that shipping to LA from China could be really fast. Doris was telling me that she had a customer in CA who received his shipment in 5 days!! So clearly she was telling the truth... now I just need to move to Cali :p

Please tell me how your Kraken from Focalecig was? I ordered a Kraken too, and Nikki wants it bad!!

I have only one, absolute hate on the Kraken (probably not just the Kraken, either): The whole idea of wrapping the positive coil wires around the center post. It is soooooo freakin' frustrating to me, to get them both lined up and tightened down properly. especially since we all know a loose wire is the ultimate danger-zone thing. Will probably set my mighty ShopSmith up in drill press mode and drill out the post on this, the turbine and my IGO-L while I'm at it.

Otherwise;
Absolutely, positively, loving the Kraken. Got it wrapped dual, for a total of .5 ohms. (running a Sony 18650 VTC4 30A battery for safety margin) Filled with my first order of Custard's Last Stand. Couldn't for the life of me get the dang SS mesh to roll tight enough to fit the holes, so just went with a "U" shaped 2.5mm silica wick for now. Airflow control on this thing is freaking A-Maz-Ing. Dialing in exactly what you want for airflow is so smooth.....

On the Maraxus, for anyone who is interested:

Build quality is excellent, takes a little getting used to, as every piece of this thing is adjustable. For the most part, you telescope the center "gold" tube to accommodate your battery. If, for some reason your atty has a slightly "off" connector length, you can tweak the top ring, so the atty will always sit flush. One oddity, not really a knock for me, is that on the top "claw", the edges between the claws are not smoothed over at all. They are a really sharp 90-degree angle. In a way, it kinda makes it feel like it would prevent it from slipping, if that makes sense.

Now that I have expended all my wind for the day, hope that helps.....:2cool:

I used to be a addict, but my wife threaten to shove my justgg up you know where if I didn't stop. Sure hope she doesn't find out about the VB and FT orders:ohmy:

 .. Nothing like a Woman who can lay down the Law, and likewise there nothing like a Man that can find his way around it! Shop on, and vape happy!! Until your wife finds out that is. ;-)

How were you installing the coil? as in with or without the SS mesh in place?? .. I just did my first SS mesh build yesterday, and it went brilliantly, even as I was a total nervous Nelly. I wrapped my coil on the mesh, but off of the deck, which made the installation IMO very easy .. I made a thread about my newest accomplishment titled "I did it!!" , go read it and maybe there is something helpful you can gleen from it.

I was using cotton in my AGI Genesis prior to this, and I am very, very happy with my build. It is vaping beautifully, and because I hear that the Kraken is the BEST Genesis on the market, clones included, I am even more excited about getting it ... I received a nice load of vape mail today, but still no Kraken (cue sound of my tears hitting the keyboard) ... I am sure I will get it between Friday and this coming Monday.

Its actually better that I didn't get it today because it gives me some time to play with my new Mod set, and SS Rocket ... and my genuine swarovski crystals that I am gonna use to mod my Mod ... bling bling bishes

Thanks for the pics too ... I love customer photos because they are a more accurate representation of what the product will look like. :)

ugh..maybe I am addicted. just bought 2 more 18650 30a batteries.
if you need batteries for those mech mods heres the new efest 30a
Efest Purple 30amp 18650 - 2100mah - 101 Vape
vape safe

Join my club darling, I love batteries ... I think I mentioned this before :p I genuinely have to fight myself to stop buying them, with all their delicious power, and different color shrink wrap. But then I could always resell the excess to Burnie because he knows his credit card # by heart, and has major shopping issues too, and so he is kinda like a partner in crime, an enabler to this addiction, and in which case I do not have to bear the guilt and shame alone ... where is Burnie? ... prolly typing his credit card # into an order page as speak!

I saw there is a new config of the Maraxus on Alibaba where its got VV built into a moveable collar, I now have my brush plating set and I would have to copper plate a 2nd Maraxus on the silver bits just for the looks, this kit is brilliant as it has nickel, cobalt, chrome, gold and silver plating solutions in it plus a cleaner solution and uses a car battery charger to create the current for the electrolyte and it also came with etching materials which on something like the Kraken would be well smart.

I made my daughters pendants using old out of use British coins and gold plated them then drilled a hole and put a loop through, took about ten minutes from start to finish and a really unique present.

Well aren't you just Mr. fancy Modder! ... and I am jealous :p. So how difficult is it to plate something?? Me, I just ordered some swarovski crystals to pretty up my Beautiful drawtube mod, but not in the crystal everywhere sort of way. I am going to inlay them into the dimpling around the top and bottom caps. :D

Speaking of Mods ... has anyone checked out the new hybridish Tank/Mod over on Focalecig? Its made by Marstech, it comes in several different colors, and based on the specs its got quite a bit of weight to it @184 grams. Its a carto tank and side fire button Mod. This Marstech has also produced a Kayfun lite clone too, and it looks pretty good.

Oh you are an awesome dad! First with the jewelery, then with a K100 ... you wanna adopt me? :p

well Im not positive but I believe the efest is a sony battery. I have had my 30a efest for a while now and have zero complaints. I ordered these since they are a little more mah.

All I have to go on is the EFest 18350s I had. They were not abused nor even used all that much for the last several months (maybe 1 recharge a week, 2 tops) and they both up and died this week at 6 months old. I am really hoping these larger ones prove to be good to you guys. I love the idea of them since I use mechs and rebuildables most of the time for 18650. I just can't help but be skeptical.

I spotted the QQ and KK which seem to be both about the same, like a K100 with a side button and a matched DCT, looks quite good and I do like the weight of the K100's, whatever else them 100's were pretty well built, the QQ looks like it could be able to take hybrid tanks as it has a 510 plate which is pretty cool if it could :)

Dunno about the name QQ as in World of Warcraft (yes I am a sinner there too) means to be a crybaby lol

The KFL clone looks exact same as Vaporbreaks wrongly branded Russian but with free shipping it probably is cheaper than VB, its the same price as FT with free shipping there but FT have got a long delay on stock there and with new year coming to China, likely to see it the wrong side of Feb if u got it from FT, what is funny is FastTech has already discontinued the cheaper Aqua clone this evening, ppls not pleased as the cheaper version was allegedly the better version with the red o rings and extra parts... oh dear

Quick question on Focale, they have a Kayfun there branded as a real Svemaesto for $49, is that the real deal one?

Plating is dead easy I found, Scott Bonner has a vid on his youtube channel where he gold plates parts of his Provari, my kit cost £36 and my daughters are worried I am going to start gold plating the baby cats or something as went a bit nuts with it hehehehe

Well that explains it ... I was just posting about this on another forum, the 18350 is Efest's worst battery, and I would not use it, nor recommend it. They don't test well, and are not consistent in performance amongst pairs. And the new Efest 30a is a Sony relabeled.

I was gonna say that the Marstech mods remind me of the K100 mods, especially after you mentioned giving your daughters one, lol .. I did notice the more expensive Kayfun on Focalecig and its beautiful, but I didn't see the reference to it being from Svoemesto ... I do remember them having two different Kayfun Lite's with a Svoemesto box in the pictures, but I think it was for comparison only because the listing used to say "clone", but I also notice those are gone now, perhaps in favor of the new Marstech Kayfun which looks good too.

If I ever get a Kayfun clone it will be the 3.1, but for $50?? I dunno ... So gold plating is easy eh? I would be so curious to watch the process of it. I got to find the video on youtube, and you have to post pics of your work, I would like to see it. Especially if you gold plate your cats.

How the heck do you get two days out of their 350s? I use two in one day... Only bought them because I thought I could stack them in my VTR(and yes, I read a lot about stacking IMR 18350s in protected mods first) but they didn't fit, so I just use them in my smoktech pipe.
