How is the turnaround on shipping? I was told they have a warehouse in CA and I'm in az. And the mods of quality? I'm tempted to snag a few that are costing me 85 elsewhere lol.

It was supposed to end tomorrow ... I think Laylel is correct, there must be a glitch in the system or something. In addition to moving to a new location, I think they were also going to be doing some updates to the website as well ... You know how that can go.

Been using my Pisces a lot since it got it. No complaints and it definitely looks good now that I have the pin moving. Still stiff but at least it moves now.

Now that is a sweet looking set up my friend ... but you know I may be biased!

Looking good, looking good! I had heard that Tobeco had improved the machining on the outer body, and it looks to be true from your pictures! Earlier Tobeco Kayfuns were kinda ugly IMO (machining), but this looks as good as the one I received last week, so I am excited now. I have a nano kit, and custom top cap kit coming soon, and I think this is going to look perfect with it.

Sure, sure ... count on Corpse to show up, when its time to show out! .. That 3D is so nice looking IMO, it makes me rethink the Nemesis all the time. But gosh darn it, FC sold out on the logoless version Hopefully they will restock it soon.

I get a black Kayfun tomorrow! I have to tell Nikki how it is. Not from Focal but it could be the same one they sell. It's by EHPRO.

Yes you do! Because EHpro also has a rose copper Kayfun, so if every thing is all good with your black Kayfun, I will feel more motivated to get that one. And I also want to know how the black coating is too ... So don't forget pics when you get it.

These are some pictures and my comparisons of the two Trident V1 Clones I have received from Focalecig:

Silver V12 clone SKU: 126731 (shown on the left in all pictures)
Golden V12 clone SKU: 126721 (shown on the right in all the pictures)



The air hole on the outer shell of the Silver v12 is a tad bit larger than the Golden v12.

My Experience: Golden v12 produces a slight bit better flavor and Silver v12 produces a slight bit bigger clouds and more airy draw on largest airhole in AFC.

Winner: Golden V12
Reason: I am more of a flavor chaser as opposed to a cloud chaser.



The size of the top cap that inserts into the body of the V12 on the Golden one is machined better and does not produce the gap in the bottom as you can see in the Silver one. The largest airhole option selected for the Silver one does not have an opposing air hole while the Golden one does have a very small hole.

My Experience: The Silver V12 would occasionally leak out of the gap created at the bottom and the Golden V12 has yet to leak any liquid out of the tiny opposing airhole when tilted up.

Winner: Golden V12
Reason: Does not leak any liquid when tilted.



The two have very similar contacts but it appears that the Golden one has an o-ring or insulation around the positive post.

My Experience: The Golden V12 appears to have less of a voltage drop and does not need to be adjusted at all when tightened all the way down because it still has some of the post sticking out past the 510 threads. The Silver one when tightened down is completely flush with the 510 threads and would need to be backed out some in order to ensure a good connection with positive pin in mod.

Winner: Golden V12
Reason: 510 pin does not need to be adjusted at all on the atomizer.



There are more threads on the Golden V12 in the 510 connection.

My Experience: The Silver V12 would produce a weird wobbling action on my Nemesis and would be very hard to flush mount because it would lose a connection in the threads on the mod and would appear to be tilted to one side. The Golden V12 can be easily flush mounted due to the extra threading and stays caught in the 510 threads on the mod when screwed on all the way.

Winner: Golden V12
Reason: Flush mounts seamlessly without a gap between the top cap and the atomizer and doesn't tilt to any sides.

Overall Winner: Golden V12 clone SKU: 126721

I hope this helps anyone out with their purchases. I am loving the Golden V12 Trident Clone and it looks very good on my Nemesis which also has the gold plated top cap ring and locking ring!

No, you have Focalecig confused with another vendor, that has decided to use the same "work name" as Doris from Focalecig to create confusion amongst consumers ... there is no relation between these vendors, Focal does not have a US warehouse.

Yes I have.. They are somewhere in the Pacific on a slow boat from China But it was my fault and I accidently had it sent Singapore Post, which could take a couple of weeks longer. My bad

The Stingray with drip tip at Focal is top notch, very good customer feedback for it. You don't need a Paypal account to use Paypal at checkout with your debit card. You would just log into Paypal as a guest ... I do recommend creating an account at Focal to make tracking your order easy.

They do not send emails to confirm orders, every thing is recorded and tracked directly from their website. If you order, you will only receive an email from Paypal to confirm your payment.

My Kayfun is not being friendly. I have lost a lot of juice trying to get it to stop leaking out of the air hole. I had no problem building and believe I have sufficient wick but not too much. I have checked all seals and lubed them. I have made sure to screw all parts down tightly. My last attempt I was able to get about 4 good pulls and fell in love....then it started leaking like a sieve. I HAVE to be losing vacuum somewhere. All o rings look to be in place. The chimney seems to fit snug into the drip tip part (when I have it all apart to check). Im confuzzled.

Update: I went back in and trimmed the wicks a little shorter. I think one was getting threaded in threads on the middle tube. Put everything back together again tightly and no leakage so far. Fingers crossed.

I`m sorry to say that the Nano kit will not fit to the Kafun Lite maybe it will fit when you mix it with the Custom Kit parts.
1. The KFL needs a wider chimney to fit in the top cap ( 3.1 hole is smaller )
2. Chimney has to be longer ( because the chamber ist not high enough )
3. Chimney thread has to be as short as the one from the KFL, otherwise you`ll get a short.

I still haven`t seen a 1:1 KFL clone ( maybe the tobeco KFL+ could be one ). All of them have a wrong top cap - it`s not lathed inside and because this looses some volume, they make the chamber very tiny to get the lost volume back ( the price makes the clone and all clone the clone )

To make a KFL short it needs a KFL, a Nano Kit and a 3.1 top cap and chamber. That´s not funny

My 3.1 with a Nano Kit and an adapter set for Nemesis is more than half inch smaller than the KFL with Nemesis.

I'm sorry to hear your bad news. I ordered a nano kit from a different site to use with my KFL from FC. After what you experienced, I wonder if I'm out some bucks. When I get mine, I will try it on my KF3.1.
