USPS is off the rails lately ... My Squape came through Chicago, something that never happens, and took a total of 20 days (unusual) ... I think the Stingray will be here tomorrow .. I hope.

I knew you didn't mean to leave me lonely

No, ma'am. It's baseball season. That takes priority. :)

Well ... that darn Group buy Squape finally showed up! My initial impressions of it are very good, it appears to be the Winsmoke Squape with the olive deck. There are no internal shorts, and my greatest task has been getting the machine oil smell and taste out of it, for which I have some tips.

Cleaning : The machine oil is the most difficult to remove from the base of the device. Using a blunt tip syringe, fill it up about .5ml with Dawn dish detergent, and inject it directly into the center air hole, and place the base, and all other parts into soapy hot water and let it sit for 15-30min.

Rinse the base directly under your faucet and allowing the water to flow into the air channel for about 1 min. Then take your syringe and fill with hot water and inject it directly into the air hole. Repeat this several times, blowing out the air hole every three shots or so. After several cycles, with your mouth covering the base and air hole, drawn in .. you will be able to taste whether the base is clean or not. If you can still taste machine oil, then repeat the entire process, but once around was enough for me to get the machine oil taste out.

I will write up a review, including build photos in a bit ...

my group buy squape came with silver alloy base (not olive). i guess the supplier had to send their whole supply of bases lol.
it still has that oil machine smell. i also used dish detergent and left it soaped all night. used a pipette brush to try to clean the air hole a bit more. then i boiled it for 30 mins in white vinegar (1/4) + water. still oil machine (blowing and drawing throug the center air hole). then i had a bad idea: lemon juice. the acid attacked the alloy, and some black spots are left on it :(
and there is still oil machine, arrg. so i'm going to follow your suggestions and work in the center hole a bit more. thx!

tha air holes in the 510 thread have a good diameter, but the air channels in the base of the atty are very narrow and superficial. impossible to get any air flow with the nemmy flat top. the trick is adjusting the nemmy center pin to keep an small gap (0.2mm?) between the mod and the atty. that's enough for getting some air.

I had read somewhere recently that the first batches of Winsmoke Squapes had the silver base, and that the later batches changed to olive green. Pretty sure it was the FT forums where I read that.

Give my cleaning method a shot, and I hope it works for you ... I came up with this one after getting the Taifun GT. I realized that the persistent machine oil taste was coming from inside the base. So now that is the area that I target for "special treatment", the rest I just scrub down with a toothbrush dipped in dawn, and rinse.

My air flow channels are pretty good .. they are narrow in width, but relatively deep within that width. I was very presently surprised at the level of air flow I am getting, I was expecting it to me more like what you are experiencing with the Nemmy. Good thing for me all of my 23mm mod also have nice air flow channels in the top cap as well.

The flavor is on par with the Kayfun, and the vapor production is slightly above it.

Just tryna keep up with you Nelson! ;-) ... Based on my initial impressions and vape time with it thus far, I would have to agree. My expectations were not very high, and I am very pleased with how it is vaping ... Nice air flow, full vapor production, and good flavor. Unless something changes with how its performing, I might place this above the Kayfun. :)

Ugh ...now you are making me feel all nostalgic! I was a regular in the Canada forums here when Canvape first launched, and Adam/Mopar used to be a good buddy of mine. I LOVED CANVAPE! They made vaping in Canada affordable, because at the time everything was priced so high compared to the US. After they opened, I never bought gear from another vendor in Canada ... I miss those days. #goodtimes

Got to be honest. I'm glad I found this thread. You gals (Nikki, Laylei, Cranky, my buddy Drifter) sorry if guys/gals;) make me feel like family and that I'm a part of this thread. I'm humbled and feel welcomed here. Coming from modding iPhones with my buddy Drifter and giving my all to what I love now is Vaping. Giving up analogs was the goal but this has become a hobby. A hobby I am willing to share my knowledge and a hobby I'm learning.

Okay enough jaw jacking. On to the pics I promised.

What can I say. Vapemail has made this guy a happy person.

Let's go to a pre family portrait. Taifun, Fogger V4, SvoeMesto Kayfun, Chi You dripper, My stingray, black Stingray, 3 turtle Ships. Yes 3. Need a boat to row...:). 2 Copper mods from Scottua. Sexy as ever. Sleek and smooth. How I like my women. Sophisticated, dressed head to toe but sexy. Vela on the outside. More to come. Orochi, SS and black Stingray. 28mm Cartel and Hades dripper.

Next on my list is the real Stingray V3. Ooo so smexy. Atoma, and Gnome I'm looking at.

Thanks again for making me feel welcomed here. I appreciate all and everything. :)

These are the kind of comments that I love  ... I enjoy the usually `comfy feel` that we have here in this thread, that is comprised mostly of people who enjoy vaping as a hobby, like you do. :) I don`t know any `real life`vapers, so this is where I share my love, and interest in this hobby... You are a great addition G-weezy, most especially since we can count you for some regularly posted porn :D

PORNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! Those two Coppers mods are looking silky smooth in deed :2cool: ... Argh, you spoiled person you! I bet Laylel is gonna be drooling over her keyboard once she see`s those copper mods *whispers* she has a copper fetish

Dang ... and you had a to get a 26650 butter copper Mod too! :p

US WAREHOUSE IS READY TO GO LIVE!

So I just got official word from Doris that their first shipment to the new US Warehouse has arrived, and that product should be listed at some point today (Hong Kong time). I believe they are starting small at first to see how things go, but as long as the interest is there, they will continue to expand inventory in the US Warehouse to meet it. :)
