That X is so sexy.. I didn't like it at first for some reason, but now I'm itching to order one. Love that look with the KFL

OMG you have to order the X, you would be crazy not to .. seriously, this is a performance mod, and it looks sexy as hell. Its a win win situation, so stop playing "hard to hit the buy button" :p

Lol, I am the type to get it done...but also very impatient! There are times when it's advantageous, but then again I have to reign in impulses too. You know, I've noticed the women in this thread are formidable. I'm repeatedly impressed by this!

BTW, made a Lowe's run today! :p

I agree whole heartedly! You know what they say " birds of a feather flock together". Only Queens, Amazons, and Goddesses in this thread  ... I am all three in case anyone was wondering.

Hope the Mega isn't too bad, I just got one. Wanted something easy for work that didn't look out of place on a mod like my Protanks. Sometimes I just don't have the time to rebuild or re-wick a Kayfun before going to work.

This Giant has me seriously wanting a Mega now ... But from what I understand, the AFC on the Giant is better than the Mega, which I hear moves easily off its setting. Other than that, they are supposed to basically the same. And these new upgraded dual coils are the bomb! I can't believe that this is a 1.8 ohm coil, because it is putting way more vapor than my KFL at .9 on a DNA set to 20W .. true story.

I actually really like the look of the stingray x 26650 and giant aerotank.... Hmmm
Damn you Nikki!

 Sorry Crocky  I know you have shinyitis too .. seriously though, I wasn't expecting much at all from this 26650 X, but the damn thing is doing it! Can believe how smooth this spring loaded extra large switch housing is.

How much does that thing weigh in full kit? Between the battery, 10ml of juice and all that metal. I assume it doubles as a personal defense mechanism?

Re: Plume veil...
Are there holes in the top of the cap because the pics aren't the best but I don't see them. Then again I'm not sure what the holes there are supposed to do.

Ok, so I usually do not post gear that I received from elsewhere in this thread, but this one, I just gotta ... Check out the obscenity that is the Kanger Aerotank Giant and 26650 Stingray X

Wow! Do you need a carry permit for that weapon? :)

Yeah there are air holes on the top of the cap. You can open or close it up by screwing the delrin piece where the drip tip attaches to.

It's supposed to add another airflow. The interesting thing is that while opening the top air holes (or any increase in air flow for that matter) can potentially cause a drop in flavor, at the same time the screwing down of the delrin piece also effectively reduces the chamber of the atty, thus maintaining the flavor :)

I haven't had time to open it yet, but when I get around to it I'll let you know if they have improved the AFC. Besides the new coils I also ordered some of the previous style coils to play around with rebuilding them.

ETA: Just opened the thing to check the AFC ring but haven't washed it so no real use yet. Out of the box the AFC seems fine, but it doesn't have click stops or any locking mechanism. It seems to be o-ring friction holding it in place so I can see where it could loosen up if a drop if fluid got in behind the ring and lubricated it. Will let you know after some real use.

The Giant only holds 4ml of eliquid, which I have heard some complaints about, even as I do not agree. I don't want a 10ml juice capacity, my juice starts to get janky with a 5ml capacity with the Squape. All that constant heating, and reheating of eliquid, turning it into thick, gooey, dark sludge ... no thank you!

This obscene Beast of a set up is upwards of 500grams with a battery installed .. it weighs a ton with no battery, or atomizer installed. I can't believe that I actually like using this thing, but I do .. it may be the novelty effect, but it is also performing like gang busters.

The Giant doesn't have any sort of click stop, it is simply requires a lot of effort to move it .. nearly impossible to move without first attaching it to a mod. Let me know how it vapes once you finally use it. I love the very thick, and solid stainless steel construction of it. :)

*Update on the Acerig Manhattan Mod*

Doris skyped me last night, and said that Acerig will not be shipping their order for the Black and Red aluminum Manhattan until this coming Monday. That means the shipment will not arrive in GA until Thursday or Friday of next week. The copper Manhattan will be shipping separately at a later date as those are still in production. :)

First I want to know that it's your fault I'm not doing the boring stuff I'm supposed to be doing. You forced me to stop doing that and play with new shiny ;)

AFC ring is loose by your description of the Giant, but firm enough that it's not going to move on its own. As a test I got my hands wet (water) and had a lot of trouble moving it, but no problem with dry hands. I can see it moving if you grabbed it out of your pocket or bag (or fanny pack) by the AFC ring, but not in normal use.

With the stock 2.0 ohm coils on a mech with a 4.0 volt battery the taste/vapor was adequate, no more. On a SID at 11-12 watts the flavor was great and the vapor production was well above what I was expecting. Getting the lower resistance coils or kicking it would make it wonderful on a mech. I am also thinking of rebuilding the older style coils into a 2.4mm diameter single compressed coil with cotton/rayon to see how that works, but that's a future thing.

In short: my drippers have nothing to worry about, but the Kayfuns are getting nervous. :thumb:

I can't speak to the Plume Veil, but you are gonna love the Infinite KFL V2 though. :thumb: The Plume Veil seems to be overshadowing all other RDA's right now. So surprised to see no love for the Mephisto which I think is so sweet looking. Its kind of a head scratcher because the review vids on youtube have such high views?
The thing with the mephisto is that it's more of the same. Tri post configuration, the airflow control is the same as many others. What people are going after are the innovative ones, like the plume veil or the veritas.

I've posted a couple of other places, but thought I would post a little Vape Porn Here for your enjoyment. :)

    Dragon.Sophia.jpg

Dragon Mech Mod With D-Base tank and Sophia & swirl FT drip tip.

Got this in today, should have gotten 18500 button top batteries instead of 18490 flat top, the tube is a little long. Not even sure if 18650 button top would fit snug, with 18650 flat top I can not adjust it enough to get the battery to not rattle. Plus the bottom switch does not make contact good (could be because the distance I had to extend the adjustment to get the battery to stop rattling, using 18490 flat & kick). Would not get another, but it does look nice.

I am completely ok with you blaming all of your shinyitis on me .. at least it is the truth :D Now about AFC, I think you might have misunderstood me as it is not loose by any definition of the word. You must make a concerted effort to move the AFC under any circumstances, and there is no a chance in hell that you could accidentally move it when taking it out of your pocket.

Now your experience witht he Mega on a mech, has everything to do with the mech you are using ... they are not all created equal in terms of conductivity ya know. On a Stingray X I have no doubt that your experience will be different in a good way. The Giant performs well well well above average at 1.8 ohm with this beastly X under it, but I am positive that if I put it on a Hades mod, that would dramatically change.

Happy to see you shopping and ish though :D VIVA LA SHINA

Yeah, I was basically thinking the same, so I agree with that from a standpoint of consumer interest .. I like it because it is a better alternative to RDA's like the Stillare, which has no single coil air flow configuration, and so I don't really use it very much. I also like the Mephisto from an aesthetic standpoint, it looks terrific with the X, and I like the logo engravings on the different rings.

I get the innovation aspect of the Plume, but its not one that I am really interested in though. I like the overall aesthetic of the Plume, but I don't care for all that crap written all over it .. like the TOBH. :(
