Hawk Sauce is good, it is often improperly mixed (as is all MBV stuff lately). I kind of prefer Faux Hawk instead. Moo juice when properly steeped can be a tasty vape, Freckled Lemonade is also (vaping it right now) really good.

I think Old Fashioned got jacked up in mixing because the description doesn't say anything about menthol, but there is definitely some in it. Its supposed to be amaretto, fruit and citrus .. all of those are definitely present, but the menthol though? I love amaretto :(

Sounds like a better method than what I have used. Luckily I don't have the aesthetic senses that most people here have, I'm more of a form follows function kind of guy. When the locking ring on my brand new shiny brass Paps got stuck I just took a big pair of pliers to it. Problem solved. Good thing Nikki wasn't in my presence, she would have taken the pliers to me if she saw that :D

You have told no lies, you would have gotten a Pow Pow sumthin terrible!

If you like guava that much it's a good thing you don't live in Miami. That's a very popular and common tropical fruit down here and you can very easily get several types fresh baked guava pastries and shakes that have many thousands of calories just in their aroma :)

I tried MBV a while back and IIRC Solar Flare and Hawk Sauce were good, but I'm not a fruity ADV kind of guy. The other (tobacco) flavors I tried were not very good, so I moved on.

I didn't know that I would like Guava until I tried this vape ... I LOVE THIS FRIGGIN JUICE MAN!! Really, this is so yummy :D

You are right .. I really want to steep them all before vaping, but I don't have that much time. I am trying all flavors for an initial impression, and letting each one steep with the cap off as I move on to the next. Then I plan to go back to the first, etc and vape again for my final thoughts.

I would love to try sticky bun  I didn't get to pick what flavors the sent, MBV picked them, they only asked what nic level I use, but I wished I would have told them that I don't like menthol or mint vapes. Menthol is ok in very small doses, but it wears on me quickly.

Your FOL seized up too? Aww honey are you going "all man" on them? My FOL lock ring is fine, but I am conscious of not over tighten it, especially after the Paps

It was stuck bad, but found a trick, which I wish I had found before I messed up the heimdall, I unscrewed the battery pin in the switch, that the locking ring away from the bottom of the switch and then could easily turn it ;)

But yes I need to learn to use the locking ring lightly, but in my defense, I normally get them stuck when reverse threading and I am putting a battery in or out and don't realize I am moving the locking ring too and tightening it up when screwing switch back in

Don't tell Nikki then, but that's how I scratched my mod, I had a towel around it, then used monkey grips to get the locking ring unstuck, but it still took some paint off

At least I could still make it look good using my dremel to remove the rest of the paint, it could of been worse, at least this mod already had brass in it, so doesn't look strange

I have a 12" x 12" piece of heavy leather that I use to protect things when I need to use pliers or put something with a delicate finish in the bench vice.

Sometimes we just have those days, but that mod looks good! If you didn't know the story you would think it was designed that way. :thumb:

If it makes you feel any better I just finished rebuilding the same Kayfun for the third time today. I was trying to match the power to a juice I like, and the last try, which should have been a keeper, made it taste burnt. Thought I went too low, drained the thing, loosened one screw and yanked the coil to get it out of the way (ruining it in the process) only to realize that I had not tightened - I mean somehow the other screw had loosened giving me an intermittent hot spot.

Maybe that is what they did with Old Fashioned too, because its not like harsh menthol, but it has that menthol effect though. Whose idea was to mix fruit and menthol anyways?

I don't know but MBV Peach Meltdown is pretty awesome if you like menthol, I see you do not [emoji135].

Probably that "Koolada" stuff. It's so close - like one molecule away from being full-on menthol - I dunno why people keep trying to pass it off like it isn't. I think it's gross too. Especially in ice cream flavors.

And girl, you look Asian to me - how could you have gone through your ENTIRE LIFE without ever having tasted guava?
FYI that's really easy to DIY with Capella's. ;)

Well, being a mixed girl and all, I do have some Asian in me:) .. I am very familar with Koolada, I used to use it lots when I started vaping and DIY three years ago, but this is not like what I remember, because there wasn't any menthol taste with Koolada, only the cooling sensation. But, maybe it is Koolada and my taste buds have simply come back with a vengeance

I used to LOVE Capella's, they were my favorite flavor vendor, and now I don't like them at all. I feel like they changed their flavors on me .. didn't like my last order from them, it was for the same flavors that I always get, Cinnamon Danish Swirl and Sweet Strawberry. The one taste like flat cinnamon and nothing else, and the Strawberry taste like syrupy candy

Maybe I will look for Guava at one on one flavors .. now their flavorings are good  And expensive
