I ordered from Focalecig last Thursday. The items shipped on the 13th. Here is a copy/paste of the tracking:
September 18, 2014 , 3:29 pm Arrived at USPS FacilityJAMAICA, NY 11430
September 14, 2014 , 9:16 am Processed Through Sort Facility SHENZHEN EMS, CHINA
September 13, 2014 , 4:34 pm Acceptance CHINA

So my question is... Does anyone have any idea when I might get my stuff in florida? Any good educated guesses?

Once my orders hit stateside, normally take 2-5 days to get to my mailbox, but mine come through Chicago though.

Most of my orders take about 5 more days once it hits NY. Those people up there take their time ;)

Hello Nicki! I was speaking with my friend Burnie (who is 1 year healthier today) about my adventure with Focalecig recently and he suggested to come on over here to ask some opinions on what to do when having a problem getting an item that's defective -Twice, so far. So anyhow, here's my story...back in June, I got the itch, as usual (who doesn't on here) for yet another mod to add to the collection and so I decided on another Vamo. I did a search and Focalecig came up pretty quick. I liked the price and I thought why not try China this time. So when I received it, I really didn't use it until about a week later and noticed it had a defective 'negative' button. I contacted CS and went back and forth with emails until I finally was given a chance to send it back and get a refund. I didn't want a refund, I wanted it replaced... At one point they wanted me to go ahead and fix it myself. I told them absolutely not, I want it replaced. So, about 20 emails later, I finally was able to send it back. It finally came about a week ago. I've been emailing back and forth again this week because this one has a defective Positive post. It stutters like mad when I press the menu for resistance and I noticed it happens with the voltage menu also. If I tighten a head down as if it were on a vice, it will stop stuttering (or bouncing for lack of better words). And we all know that you should not have to tighten a head down that much. So in my latest escapade this past week, I have been going back and forth again. Had to send yet another video of the freaking thing doing it's dance AGAIN. I don't know why they wanted 2 dang videos, because it didn't magically change overnight. So my question... Is 3 a charm?? I wonder if I should pursue another or just live with this one?? Thanks for reading my short story:laugh:.

On the Vamo, I build my Kanger clearo coils to hit around 2.0 ohms, I check them on my Vamo and give the coil a quick fire to burn off any oils from my fingers before wicking. I have seen many times where the readout for the ohms will rapidly fluctuate between 1.9 & 2.0, it looks like a flicker but I can see the digits changing back and forth so my coils are often hitting right on the edge of 1.9 to 2.0. If I was to crank it down it would surely change the resistance a tad and may take the resistance off the "edge" but knowing what I'm seeing and why there is no reason to tighten it more then I normally would, it won't matter during use. It's the only time my display will "flicker".

Also, a couple days after I got it I was getting a warm spot where the tubes screw together, after a few more hits OUCH and it burnt my finger. I knew right away there was a bad connection between the tubes causing the heat, I took it apart, cleaned all the threads with rubbing alcohol and tighten them down. Now I make sure the threads are cleaned and the tubes firmly tighten when I change a battery, not over during it but tight and I haven't had that happen again. If your getting a bad connection between the tubes that may give fluctuations in the voltage readings. Just putting that out there in case these are things that your running into.

Good luck with it, hope you get one working right, I love mine!

It can take a few days or occasionally even more to get through customs. Mine usually take about 2 days lately. Then once its released however long shipping from NY to FL usually takes. The 5 days to get from China to NY customs matches how long my packages took recently. I live in NY although not in or near the city.

PS: Since customer service wants a picture to replace the damaged tank on the mini Genny I bought, guess you'll get some vape porn after all Nikkita6 ;) If I have to to the trouble to take one, might as well take a few.

Well I think that is about the going price. Somewhere around that anyway. I don't know. I certainly understand her position and hesitancy. I will get one regardless but not until next paycheck....I overspent my vape budget this go around :)

Let me know what she says about the orchid tank

She confirmed that she was wrong, and it is not glass :( .. Now lets see if she will pull the trigger on the Pontus ;-)

eciggity has the Pontus for $41.99, and you can get them on ebay for $39.99 with free shipping. Sounds like they are charging a premium to China vendors. Now I have to go see if I can find my old fanny pack.

Wholesales prices are always based on quantity, so those vendors may have ordered over 100pcs, which brings the price down.

Oh please Baby Jesus let him find the fanny pack, my life will be made!

Your good friend Burnie did tell me about it, and I also mentioned it to her when I spoke to her tonight and told her that Eleven is the one you dealt with you. Please email Doris directly at sales@focalecig.com with your order # for the Vamo and tell her that I sent you, and she will take care of it much better than Eleven did.

Sorry you had to go through all of that. :(

I'll continue to order from them because I really like the quality I get and the refund is quick if somethings wrong. That being said, if FC has it in the US warehouse they instantly have my business!

It will probably be in the US warehouse eventually, but not within the next week or so. The V3 is what should have went to the Warehouse first, but Doris said she didn't know there was a V2 and then a V3 when they ordered the V1 .. they did all hit fairly close together.

Hahaha, sounds good! Don't let CS give you any run around though, and don't be shy to pull the Nikkita card if need be ... Be like " Do you know who I am?"

They must show favor to NY residents because I always get mine within 48 hours after hitting ISC NY .. Maybe the other states in between are the slow ones :p
My packages seem to like a tour of the airport areas. One of the recent ones showed sent to JFK from China, then it shows at ISC NY, then Flushing, then Jersey City before it made it out of NY. My packages have so much more fun than I do.

Don't have a solutions to your problem, but I thought I would chime in and tell you something you probably don't want to hear. My Vamo likes some attys and dislikes others. On some devices the ohm reading fluctuates and I have to tighten it down some more, on others it works perfectly. My friend has one that does exactly the same thing, and we bought them from different places and at different times. I have never had to tighten anything until it bottoms out, but more than I would on my SID.
Thanks for the input. This may be true for the version 5, but I've had a V2 for over a year now with absolutely no problems and is still going strong. Maybe the improvement on the version wasn't really an improvement??

Can't like that post, damn why not glass, maybe version 56 will have glass

Seems to be worse than the foggers keeping up with the versions of the Orchid.
