Focalecig ... A new Fasttech??

I was gonna get one of those, but decided not to, because I heard they get really hot (I think most gennies do though), and capacity's tiny (like 2ml). And if it wasn't airy enough, it would be really hard to enlarge the holes - maybe not the teeny tiny outer one (which might suffice), but the one on the inside actually going into the chamber is at a weird angle and would be really hard to get to. The build looked a little funky to me too. Wasn't that the one with the common post? The only thing separating the +/- is a tiny insulator. :/

...and yet it remains on my wish list, because it looks so slick! Nice to see someone else asking about it - I thought I was the only oddball here that wanted one of those.

I haven't even looked at it yet . She just suggested we both get one, and figure it out, lol! Supposedly it is quite the flavor producer.

There are stories of taking the rubber off an old drip tip and tucking it under the pin to stiffen it up.

I had to do it because everytime I refill the tank on my Vamo V5 the screw screws itself down, and I have to adjust it.

Its a really handsome looking atomizer, I always thought so. It was only the air flow that stopped me from getting it. Every time I see it, I want it .. but I want air more

I have one but haven't built it yet. I have no idea why it took the back burner. Guess I should get on that after our holiday company leaves.

Ok so I'm eyeing the Origen V2 for cyber Monday. Any thoughts. Who has one that can tell me about the air flow? Also on the Orchid and the Lancia. I think I'm finally letting the idea of getting a Dome go. Still haven't heard anything to convince me it'll work for me.

If you mean the Genesis type Origen:
you have two air holes from 1.2mm up to 2.5mm. 2x 2.5 is sth like open draw I guess. It was designed by a hungarian guy named Norbert and the design is special for some reason. You can use it with mesh, but it works perfect with cotton too - even in sub Ohm area, because the distance between coil and tank is very short - it`s easy to wick. The center post has a hole for the coil leg - I think that makes it easy to setup. Because of the heatsink top cap it doesn`t get very hot. I`ve seen it with a 0.3 Ohm cotton setup - 5 hits and you can`t see your furniture. The only "problem" is the 4ml tank, that seems to be a lot, but I guess I have to refill it 3 times a day.
But where can I find a 4ml tank in an atty of 35mm?

The return policy leaves much to be desired. On the SqR I was told to wait for the repair kit. Then told I couldn't return it because I used it. Ok then.

I've never dealt with Eleven, only Doris (sales@focalecig.com). Most recently, my Hobo clone had a janky deck so I emailed Doris about the issue (with a picture). End result after a couple of emails - I get to keep the atty, received a refund including restoration of the $10 coupon I used, and FC is sending a new Hobo deck with the Mephisto V2 I ordered a few days ago. Granted, it wasn't a high dollar item but the service was kickass.

I've had pretty mixed results with some of the items I've ordered but the service has always been good. I haven't had to jump through any "make a video" hoops though.

I do have a drill, but not the kind that can open up stainless steel. I wish drill pants out of everything if I had the proper drill and bits.

You can get bits at Lowes or Home Depot and I have drilled stainless with a hand drill. It's all about the bit. You can for sure do it.

So I rebuilt both my RBAs and the BF-99. Sweet success....except... My iStick is now useless as I have to futz with the 510 connection each and every time I change atty's AND I built my RBA's at dual coil 30 AWG 6 wraps for .9 ohms. IStick refuses to fire [emoji23]

Good thing I have An MVP to back up and plenty of batteries. I WILL master the dual vertical coil before my Origen arrives! Lol

The Genny is at a happy 1.3 single coil 28awg 5 wraps. I just can't make up my mind what to fill it with yet [emoji5]️

Like Tami says, you don't need a fancy drill - just the right bits. COBALT is what you want. The type of metal, not the Lowes brand that starts with a K. Also, it's easier and cleaner to step up to the size you want to get to. So get the size you want, then another one in between.

And for grinding stuff down with a Dremel, you want ALUMINUM CARBIDE. The diamond-encrusted ones might work too, but those are mostly for glass and porcelain type stuff.

I do like to clamp things down though, so you might want one of these too, if you don't already have one: Alloy Aluminium Light Mini Table Vise BD QLM 8006 Clamp | eBay
Then you'd be able to control your drill with both hands.
(I haven't had to drill out any holes yet - I used to fix printing presses.)

Thankfully, all my stuff has been good. But if I ever had to, I would probably email the poor misguided child first, then do the cry face with Doris. Doris is awesome. She even helped me with and FT problem! (yeah, I was so desperate that I went crying to Doris. )
