1000 puffs  I would like to see how many puffs I take per battery. Not a deal breaker tho.
I almost....almost got a vaporshark, but that idea passed away after reading the multiple glitches with Evolve's chips. Maybe at a later date I may consider it.
My unit only came with 1 battery and it does last awhile. I will probably just keep 1 battery for now. I have 3 different mods I like to rotate during the day.

I am with you, I was annoyed by that because I also want to monitor how many puffs I am getting per charger cycle. And I wished that I would not have purchased the second battery because with all the devices that I have I really don't need the second one ... which is why I haven't used it yet  Hindsight is 20/20. Also my battery recharges in about an hour and half so, not much down time there.

The Vapor Shark rDNA 40 that I received was problem free, and I thought the chip was good. The temp protection is alright, didn't really like the Nickel wire though. The VS box is about as dull and boring as you can get. It was sturdy and very meticulously assembled, but at the same time so unimpressive to me. Just a basic black box, so you are not missing anything.

Hey to anyone browsing this, to avoid scrolling through 1000 pages.
What are your thoughts on their clones for atties?
Shipping isn't my main concern and i suspect it will be like fast tech. However, I need new .... and im ballin on a budget.

They have plenty of good atties, and some that I would pass on so ... specifics please :)

That description almost brought a tear to my eye, sounds like they made it just for me.

Speaking of the Zero's, I should have my V2's in two days, and so should anyone else who was waiting for them.
So how were people able to order a V2 Zero when there was just the version-less one listed in the USA warehouse section of the focalecig.com site?

Speaking of item confusion... The IPV, particularly the blue and gold ones, were removed because the manufacturer said there were issues producing them if I understand correctly. Will they come back at a future date?

This is what I know about the Zero. We all ordered v1, but they sold more than they had in stock. So some people were left waiting. Yosen has now done a v2 so anyone who didn't get one from the first batch will be getting a v2.

ya ... those who were waiting for restock were originally waiting for the V1. Then Yosen abruptly announced that they decided to not sell the V1 anymore, and that they were going with a new and improved chip instead and needed two weeks to get it done. They left everyone with outstanding orders no choice but to wait for this new chip of theirs. So those with pending orders are being sent the V2 by default, no one was given a yes or no option in the matter. It was either wait for the V2 or get nothing ... at least from Yosen.

As for the IPV's ... I have no idea if P4U will try to produce those colors later. I mean they had to of at least made some because I do have a gold one, I just had to wait longer for it. If I had stayed with the silver I would have had it a week earlier. Its too bad, I can't speak for the blue, but I like the gold a lot ... its a classy gold color.

ETA: I did not order any Zero's from FC, the the V1's that I got, and the V2's that I am getting are directly from Yosen which they are sending for review with a bunch of atomizers. I had no plans of getting anymore Yosen Zero's but they contacted me and said they wanted to send them and of course I was not going to say no.

Hey all. Suggestions for a vv/vw device. I have an MVP and mechs but would like more power for some clouds.

Maybe I'm just not building low enough coils. I usually run my clone Kayfun because I get tired of dripping.

I would prefer a clone but not sure about these clone chips.

I have been eyeing a Kato mod and the big dripper. I'm a big fan of bottom feeders but can't get myself to drop the cash for a REO.

So. Any recommendations for a cheap vv device with some reliability. I'd be mad if it broke :) thanks in advance
I like the Mini and the Zero clones, too. FWIW, for about the same money (~ $53.00) there is a 50w VW mod that uses a SX300 G-sensor board (supposedly a yihi but I'd take that w/a couple grains of salt!). It's at the 'other place' so I'll not post a link but I'm sure if you were to look at the new arrivals you'd find it. Another option already mentioned is a Hanna DNA 30 clone. I own one and it gets the job done at a very reasonable cost.

I'm receiving that Mephisto clone today. I should know a lot more about it in a few hours. I'll update accordingly.

And, you really can't go wrong with the MutX. It's a great atty.

lol @ Doris. I think she may be sick of hearing from me.

I emailed to ask about FC getting the copper Shenxi Slug...

First reply:

Hey Nathan,

Thanks for reaching out. Glad to see that you reach me for another reason (Not for product problem).
I have forwarded information to our product department staff. T
I'll keep you inform for the status within 24 hours.
Best Regards,
Doris

I'm guessing when she saw the email from me she was like "ugh, not this idiot again". :glare:

Second reply about an hour later:

Hello Nathan,

Sample will arrive tomorrow.
We will start selling it within 48 hours.
Thank you for your support!
Best wishes,
Doris

How is that for fast? Either they were already planning on stocking it and my timing was serendipitous or she's totally in love with me. Either way, I'll be getting a copper Slug from FC when they go live.

Mephisto V2 has landed.

I wasn't exactly optimistic when I saw the packaging:

It looks quite a bit better in person than it does in FC's pics, which is usually the case. Build quality appears to be fairly good and the airflow slots all align properly. This does have a single coil configuration if you are into that kind of thing. Machining is decent and everything goes together snugly. Huge post holes, nice big post screws, and pretty deep juice well.

A couple of gripes: The 510 is not adjustable - backing it out at all results in the positive post spinning freely. Dunno if the OG is this way. Also, the insulator around the positive post is, um, not very substantial.

I'll throw a build in it shortly and see what this thing can do.
