I got mine today. It looks sturdy enough. My glass tank was a little tough to get off but it came off with a bit of pulling. I just washed it and put in a micro coil and threaded cotton through it. It was easy to build. I didn't put the clear insulator back on. My resistance came out to 1.2Ω, right where I want it. I filled it. Nice vapor. But the flavor is off.. I can taste the coil.

I drained it with a syringe and took the chimney off. I placed another small piece of cotton over the coil and reassembled and refilled it. The flavor is still off but not quite as much. So far no flooding or dry hits but the vape isn't as "saturated" as I would like. I'm not getting that pureness of flavor that I get with my kayfuns... but I just started playing with it.

It's a bit nicer than I was expecting, it's certainly heavy. I've got the afc all the way open.

The State of Confusion
I finally got my apart and had to replace the lower O Ring...

I agree not as flavorfill a hit as I would like, but for $29.00 , and some tweaking I am sure it will be a good RBA:)

The only build that gives me decent flavor with this thing is a 30g 10 wrap micro coil on 1/16" drill bit, filled with cotton (rolled or from balls) ... thin wicks, not overstuffed. You do have to re-wick when the flavor starts to fall off. I've tried various diameter silica and mesh, and they work, but the top notes are muted in my opinion.

And of coarse most folks know what I did to mine by now, certainly no flavor problem now.
Speaking about flavor, I keep seeing folks with these dual coil sub ohm cloud making attys and their talking about flavor. What flavor? All I get is a big cloud with almost no flavor and it's the same VG based juice that I run in my Reomizer so I know it got flavor. Are they just BS'n

BTW, I use 80/20 in all my tanks.

You have the enlarged wick holes, I remember that. You run cotton too right?
Yep and it's so flavorful that I'm considering DIY'n special juice for it ( with less % of pure flavoring added )

It's not quite a micro as I am using a 5/64" shaft to wrap the coil on, then transfer to a round tooth pick for mounting. My wick holes are the right size for the wick that goes in the coil, 1/16" is good also but I like the mini coil there better. I'm now mounting the coil with the legs rolling off the top of the coil. it sits a little lower then.

Yeah, I do the same, the "hanging coil" ... I always have to remember to wrap the other way, as I tend to wrap up if that makes any sense.

It was weird cause for the first couple I wrapped them the opposite direction that I usually do and it was really awkward and then I looked at it and well.....it was too high

Yep, same here ... my instinct is to go the other way, which I still do for all my other devices. I have to remember when I'm wrapping for the Fogger. (I think the other way is what I do for a Geni, which is why I have the habit)

Fogger V2 arrived today from VB, took it apart no problems at all, cleaned it up, giving it a try with coil/wick that it shipped with, not the best, long hits go dry, but no flood or gurgle, going to run the partial tank through it and try some various builds to get down what it likes.

I have no issues at all, keeping fingers crossed, For the $27 I paid shipped, I think this thing is a bargain!

Mine's working pretty good now. Really great vapor and the flavor is much better. I've got a micro coil with cotton in it and I'm finding that too much cotton in the inlet holes doesn't wick very well. I was getting a dry, metallic taste. I took it apart and pressed the cotton down a bit so it doesn't fill the inlet holes so snug. I've also placed another small piece of cotton over the coil. I have no interest in mesh or silica.. I like the ease of changing the cotton and leaving my coil alone. Also, I'm still not using the clear o-ring but I've had no leaking or flooding.

Taking it apart isn't the easiest thing... even well lubed, the glass tank is snug on those o-rings but it's not too bad. Work has kept me busy the last few days so I haven't had much time to play with it but I'm very pleased at how it's working right now. After watching Rip's video, I was beginning to feel like I made a mistake ordering it but so far, the unit I received has been well worth the $27 I paid for it. :)

After a little over a days use I'm still pretty happy with it, same build as previous mention, have had some slight flooding, tilting it on the side and hitting it cleared it pretty quickly. Was only after filling, but very minor, wicks the tank dry. My tank is pretty smooth for removal, putting it back in place the o-ring tends to stretch out of place but with some slight rocking it pops right on (I make sure it has a little juice on it). Taste is slightly better than my Oddy clone, but it is a much cooler vape. Airflow controller works very well, going from a very slight restriction, to complete closure (works rather well).

Considering all the different problems which have been experienced I think I may have lucked out on build quality. Curious if most of you got yours in the plastic tube? Mine came packaged in a retail box, not sure if that means anything, but I don't feel bad about spending the cash, and feel I got a decent value for my coin.

Not sure if this has been shared or not, but for those who experience dry hit, try to loosen the chimney little by little until you find the right size of wick hole.

My setup is double 2mm silica wick, 5 wraps of 30 AWG khantal A1 (around 1.7 ohm), no oring in the middle, air hole fully open. 70 / 40 PG / VG ejuice ratio sitting on Pisces clone mecha.

Got very good flavor and vapor, no dry hit.

Has anyone here tried the Ekowool sheath over SS cable?

I know of at least two of us that have. As per another poster's suggestion, I cut the SS short and the Ekowool long so that only the wool reaches through the wick holes. It is somewhat of a PITA -- like most things with this sucker -- but yields a most excellent vape in my opinion.

Yeah I have. In fact, I just rebuilt this exact setup and I guess I've done something wrong, because now all I'm getting is flooding. I'm letting the whole thing sit upside down for a few hours and see if that clears things up.

edit: mean to add that if the upside-down drainage thing doesn't work, I'll put that o-ring back where it "belongs."
