Sorry but I'm not very good with a mouse and MS Paint, just to be sure this is the path for the air to enter the hole in the center post.

There should be a clear path between the hole on the side of the 510 to the bottom on the inside.
Mine is arriving today, I'll certainly know more at that time.

Okay so I can tell I'm driving you guys crazy trying to explain this I'm just going to have to take pictures when I get home late this evening. But whenever I took apart the coils base I saw no way for air to pass through the side holes in the threading the only way air can pass is through the positive Center pin and again no there is no groove in the positive center pin it is flat

Thee have been reports in other attys where they forgot to drill air holes at all so who. Knows they might have missed slotting the center pin

You said fully disassembled, were there any holes in they pin shaft.. If its not slotted or holed you'll have to mod it.. Or the silicone insulator is upside down blocking the holes somehow.

Wow, are Atari and I the only ones that recieved and set up their's? I cannot find additional feedback anywhere here or any other sites and the only videos on this are in foreign languages. I've set up 2 but still waiting on my mech mod in the mail, so haven't been able to fire em up yet. There has got to be more than 2 people that has ordered and recieved these! Especially on ECF. On another note, they seemed to work fine in those foreign videos but again.....who knows what the commentary is saying.

I'm curious on if you could build the fogger with cotton? Do you guys think it's possible? Since a lot of people build protanks with cotton, the fogger would b a beast with cotton i think =). Gonna order the v2 on the next group buy whenever that is xD
I'm counting on it, micro with cotton

Do me a favor put it on the ego battery and take a couple of drawls and tell me if you get air flow. Or even just put your finger chip over the bottom of the center pin and tell me if you get air flow

I just got mine from the mail, looks just like the picture(510), more to come.

There is a hole on each side of the 510, just like in both pictures, one is low into the threads and the other is in the usual spot. The upper one is (was) being blocked by some of the nylon insulator. I have a Dremel clone.
I removed the poorly done SS wick and coil and replaced with 3 mm silica with another short piece on top inside the coil, only the one piece sticks out into the juice. My positive post has the groove across the bottom. I've only had a couple of hits on it so far, let me continue and I'll post more a little later. It seems OK so far.
OK so far only lasted till my primer vaped off, I enlarged the holes where the wick protrude out, cut it mostly side to side as it can't go much lower and none higher, it now accommodates 3 mm silica and I'm past the primer. Air draw is loose btw.

I'll give it a try when I get home from work. As for the questions people are asking about the build, I didn't find it very difficult but the deck is kind of crammed and deep. I wrapped a micro and used the stock wick, but debating replacing with ecowool. The people I'm giving these to have never wrapped a coil before so I need their builds to last a little longer.

XC-116. I got it a couple weeks ago, havent changed a wick since. Its like a cross between ekowool and ss cable. Seriously check it out, I hope to have a review written by this weekend.

if your brave enough to take yours apart (which I honestly dont recommend) Maybe the FT version is different from the AKA version. Maybe I have assembled it wrong, or maybe (IMO most likely) I have disrupted the spacing of these pieces and cannot get it back together with the exact precision of the original configuration .

Is it possible to put the positive post in upside down?
A groove must be across the bottom of it for the air to go in, if not backwards then you will need to make one there.
I post my pictures to Facebook and link to them, my only reason I use it.

Well, I'm vapin one of the tanks right now. Not sure if it's because of airflow problems or not but the plumes are kind of small (like a carto tank). Especially compared to my genny (both at 1 ohm micro). Dumb question though....how would one know if it was an airflow problem? I have only built genny's up to this point. Great taste tho and no dry hits. Slight leakage out the bottom too. Anyway, at least it looks good on a Pulse. Too bad I'm givin it away, but I'm sure the Russian's gonna look and perform better

update: Finally found a video in English but no fix for the airflow problem. Guess I gotta buy an airflow adjuster. Can't believe these sold out on several websites yet there is so little feedback on the internet amd especially ECF!
