Okay I'm gonna stop this mid-build and see if you guys can tell me if this is looking good, or if I'm doing something boneheaded. I'm leaving the silicone o-ring off this time. I'm hoping that will get this thing a'flowin'.

If I have to start from scratch again, I'll try a micro coil.

Zip,

The wick looks good for length ... Although that coil seems a little sparse ... I can't imagine you would get too much vapor production off of that coil.

I did use that, thanks. They're pretty quick in processing my order.

To be perfectly honest... Stormy's Vapor Cellar is A+ even if the website isn't one of the better production versions.
Stormy gives 199% to her customers, and if she carried every conceivable device out there, she would get my business exclusively.

But since she doesn't ... One does have to shop around to get what one needs to keep the vapemail flowing.

Yeah I would like more coil coverage but I started out with 4 wraps and that came out to 2+Ohm.
Anyway. I guess I'll go ahead and reassemble this thing once more today.....

I have probably posted this back a few pages but this is my setup on both of my Foggers, 28 gauge nichrome and the wick slots are widened some also. I suppose I should rebuild my other one with 26 gauge nichrome as that is what I have in every other micro coiled device that I have and then I'll be able to post a new picture.

I would try wrapping around 10 wraps of 28 or 30g around a 1/16" drill bit (smooth side) .... and make a wick out of cotton. I use the CVS Sterile rolled kind, others use balls... Cotton is one of the fastest wicking mediums out there, you just can't dry burn it. Usually not an issue in a device like the Fogger since it's bottom fed.

Yes to this, I'm on my third day of the best vape I've ever had, no leaks or dry burns and haven't even had to replace cotton

I kind of missed my target on this one:

It ended up @ 0.6 ohms with 26 gauge nichrome.
So I re-coiled it with 28 gauge and again missed my target but hit the sweet spot I guess, 1.1 ohms.
Target was 0.9 ohms but the 1.1 is real good for the amount of liquid that can be feed to the coil.

What did you use to wrap your coil? Also do your coils touch?

I'm going to use your build here as a template for my attempts today.
Did you have to put that o-ring back on, the one that seems "optional" and sits
over the wicking channels?

I don't use the o-ring, no ss wick here, cotton forms to any shape of hole
