Strictly prohibited until Sunday!

I put them down but they only occupy say 1/4 of the diameter of the channels for half way down...

I just rewicked mine 30 seconds ago, big deck @ 1.4ohm 32ga, and I can tell I used too much rayon, I'm getting way muted flavor, I'm gonna drain it trim the wicks and I bet it will be fine,... I'm currently running more than half the wick above the channels on the deck with a little in the channels coming down, I'm gonna trim the parts on the deck then I think it will rip.

I just received USPS notification that my two Big Fogger came out of the fog and arrived at Los Angeles sorting facility. Hooray! That's 19 days from Fast Frog in China.

On that note: After building, vaping and re-building two Big Kayfuns several different ways, several times for several days. I confirm that Fogger V4.??? Vapes BETTER that Kayfuns (big or small)
And that is coming from the Russian that has an unconditional love for Kayfun. I own 5 of them now. (big and small)

Here is my detailed review of fast tech 30mm (26650) Kayfun Lite:
If anybody cares to read it.
If not - just skip it.

I bought two of them at different time in two different shipments hoping they are from two different batches. But they are pretty much the same.

1. Liquid Capacity is 10 ml, NOT 20 ml.

2. Some genius decided to use Washers under the Terminal screws. Bad idea, those washers create short circuit and both units arrived shorted without coils. Here is why:
I suggest removing those washers and not using them.

Di6zRkl.jpg

3. Neither the Screws or the Washers are made out of Stainless Steel (They stick to the magnet)

6i1PLm5.jpg

4. Also, when the factory drilled the side Airhole they did not remove Burr from the Center Pin hole, just where the drill bit makes its exit. Thus also creates potential, intermittent short circuit. The Burr must be removed: (it is very hard to capture that burr inside the hole, but believe me it is there touching positive center pin)

5. In one of my units, the bottom portion of the Chimney (Chimney Well) has a crack all the way though.

6. The other unit came with MISSING Delrin Insulator, it just wasn't there.

Fxnzgh4.jpg

7. Positive terminal block is machined poorly, the threaded hole almost exposed on one side:

GJc6OFb.jpg

8. I replaced those screws with M2.0 Stainless Steel but my screws had their heads taller by 1 mm and that shorted to the Chimney Top portion, I had 0.27mm wire under the screw head. That means that there is only 1mm gap from the top of the positive Screw and the chimney that is Negatively charged. An other word: It is dangerously close to shorting out especially for those who like to use thicker gauge wires.
Here is the evidence of Short Circuit: (You see those burnt marks?)

That said, over all it is a pretty good atomizer (after you get all the problems worked out)
I have it built with a single coil and with dual coil.
I performs pretty well.

I'm going to open up a Support Ticket for the Missing Insulator and Cracked Well to be replaced.

Assuming you have no voltage drop, you would be at 29 watts anyways, so in a way that sorta make sense, no? But I guess more realistically you would be between 20 to 26 watts depending on your mech

I personally have mine at 0.8 ohms and switch between 19 and 24 watts. Great flavor, Solid TH and and vapor production

Does anyone know if these V4 Clones have the threaded AFC ring?

Not sure about the Focal ecig foggers, but my Desire ecig ones, which look identical to Focal's, are of the 4.0 variant. Not threaded, no oring to stabilize the afc. Easy to remedy though, just put a small piece of tape between the afc ring and the rba.

Why don't you get them from eBay they cost pretty much the same don't they. ...?

Lol that. I can TOTALLY understand buying clones of a 100+ dollars atty. But a fogger is pretty much the price of a clone as it is loll

ugh so frustrating reading about everyone enjoying their Kayfun killer foggers and I get nothing but muted flavor and dry burnt hits that won't wick regardless of how little cotton I put.... I can't even get mine to flood liquid out of afc with no cotton

Mind trying the following?

1) with no wicks at all, turn the AFC completely closed and suck on the atty. Does it flood?

2) take a photo of the atty from
Top down, with the bottom chimney section on. Just
To see if the channels look like it's clear into the deck

3) share a picture of the channels.

I'm sure we can get this sorted out for ya!

There is a small oring on the top part of the chimney section. Some of the foggers come with it installed, mine witch is a big deck version did not.
Check if the o-ring is there, its very tiny with white/translucent color, you might want to wear glasses depending on eyesight.

Edit: it sits in the groove before the threads on the top of the chimney

Edit2: English is not my 1st language :)

Thank you, They look the same to me also. How do they vape? Build Quality?

The build quality is very similar to my black 4.1 from fasttech. Very good. The vertical juice channels are really tiny though, impossible to avoid dry hits. I resolved to try Kayfun style wicking (no cotton in the juice channels) before taking out the dremel, and they work perfectly that way.

Just FYI: I removed and discarded those O-Rings from my two Fogger V4.2 and V4.3 units. Thus did not alter their performance in any way, it just made it easier to take it apart for cleaning and re-building. An English is not my 1-st language either. :)

There is a white translucent thing there but honestly it only partially looks like a O ring it almost looks like it's melted or smudged into the top part of the chimney before the threads.... it doesn't seem like it would be easy to remove it's like it's permanently there.... I will take a picture maybe I am missing the O ring at the top
