You could leave it off. What I have done now is remove the ground post and screw completely, go into the parts bag and get the extra fill port screw and put that in where the ground post was - makes it great for the ground leg on a dual vertical coil build which I prefer over the horizontal.

Could I get a picture of what you're talking about? Sounds like a nifty solution :D

ERMAGERD. Simplest but cleverest idea yet!

Mine looked a little silly doing it with both posts on

is it worth getting the new version 4 PLUS aka 4.4 or 4.1.... good lord... if I already have a big deck version?

I did a sleeper coil build on mine tonight and it's working really nice love when both sides heat up evenly.

In my opinion the only design change they should do (not even including build/material quality, which could be better off course) is instead of having the airholes inside the deck sitting flush with itself, raising them up a bit, just like those super mario pipes :p

Reason I'm saying this is, I own a Fogger v4.3, haven't been able to find a 4.4(1) here in the UK and did a build yesterday, it's vaping AMAZING, this morning before leaving for work, filled her up again, juice came out of the tip, as I've been accustomed to in the Fogger for some reason whenever I do a re-fill this happens, vaped for a good 5 minutes, went on to work, threw it in my bumbag, arrive to work, juice everywhere inside the bumbag, all over my mod, everywhere. Where did it come from? The airholes... always those airholes.

Post a pic of your build, maybe your wicks are small enough, and they should be close, that a hard drag could have compressed then enough to leak, what are you wicking with? I find that sometimes it takes a min of vaping to settle your wicks and if they were perfect from the start they may have shrunk just enough to make it leak. Just one theory however I have experienced this before.

Since I switched to Rayon three weeks ago, I haven't had one leak at the air holes, not one! with Rayon I can pack the wick a little tighter on the deck, and it keeps the juice out of those damn air holes. I don't (intentionally) put any wick in the channels, I just put it on the deck.

When I wicked the coils (organic cotton) I cut them quite short and just enough as to when I put the chimney on, with a small and thin screw driver I could lay them on top of the juice channels (not stuffed AT ALL) just like a Kayfun, although I did leave the juice channels deliberately slightly open, as in, when looking down the chimney I could see the holes through the cotton, as I didn't want to risk dry hits.

Was that wrong in any way?

Hm... why would Rayon make much of a difference? So you didn't even put the end of the wicks on top of the channels? You just left it there randomly?

You can pack Rayon tighter than cotton and it'll still wick well, so you can pack more wick on top of the juice channels and it'll still work great, but not be so prone to moving around when you're refilling. I seemed to have a problem with cotton getting "blown" off of the channels when I refilled, and then it was leak city!

This is how I've been wicking mine. Using a 5/64 drill bit so that I have enough cotton to vape at 24 watts.

Was epic fail for me previously when I was using 1/16, since that was the only diameter where i could stuff the cotton tails into the channel without choking it off.

Using tbev's suggestion of trimming the ends at an angle, I could then use a 5/64 drill bit and enough cotton. Snipped like this

I like to bend the wick and just stuff a tiny bit of the end into the channel (halfway down), while leaving a fat lump of cotton between the coil and the channel. Reaaaaaaally helps me to chain vape at 24 watts

Looks like I have a lot of cotton in the channel because it's all juiced up, but it's reaaaaally a tiny bit
