So interesting thing.

I overtightened my fogger, and now the top chimney piece is permanently stuck to my top cap no matter how I try to unscrew it. (It's stuck and refuses to budge one bit)

Sounds like a bad thing right?

Nooooope! Now I can actually turn my atty upside down, and unscrew the base to mess with my coils. How awesome is that?!

Even better when I remove the drip tip: the topcap is flat on top, so I can just set it down with no mess. Heck if I wanted to, I just put my juice into the topcap before screwing on the base. No need to mess with my fill hole.

What a terrific misfortune

I just noticed that on my 4.3 I was thinking about making it permanent.... Sounds like a good idea

It's great actually. I can easily fill up to 3+ ml on my 4.2(?) while pressing down the glass tube firmly, and just mess with my coil whenever I want to.

Considering converting all mine to that, although I'm not entirely sure what sort of glue / adhesive I could use.

The great thing is that there really isn't any loss of functionality going that route.

Thanks for the pictures, have to try that! I'm waiting for some shiseido cotton, I didn't have much luck with 1mm ekowool above 18 watts so far.

Good luck with that and let us know how it works when you've tried it!

I'm currently nearly through with the 2nd tank of juice, still hitting like a champ and no off taste or anything to indicate burnt cotton or gunked up coil. It's been working well for me and i hope it does for you too!

BAD:
Anyone wanna trade a version 4.2 for this POS version 4.3? I don't like the fill hole and I really don't like the capacity! That WAS one of the big draws for me: fill it one time and vape all day. Now they've made it a big tank that won't last all day, so you have to carry a syringe with you because it's hard to fill. And shame on you if you have to adjust the wicks, there's no draining a thick juice out of these things without making a mess!

GOOD:
Vapes really well. I think I like the flavor with the larger chamber better than the first 2 versions.

Oh yeah, the larger deck didn't really seem beneficial to me, so I didn't put this in the good or bad category.

EDIT:
I added a couple of fill holes in the top so I can fill it with just about any bottle style, which worked out great...but it still doesn't hold enough fluid, and now my $35 tank is now about $135 tank!

I have the V4.3. It works really well with how I build it, after the initial fill that is... It floods through the airholes a little bit, but once I vape it, it doesn't flood until the next fill. This issue keeps me from loving how the Fogger V4.3 functions.
I agree with you, it vapes really well at sub ohm's (personally I build it between .4 - .5 w/ 26g), no dry hits, but disappointed with the reduced juice capacity. I don't have an older version yet, I have one coming in, and from what I read on FT is the V4.3 holds around 2 mil's less.

I did some hunting around the past two days for an older version. I only found two places. I'll link them below incase you or anyone else is still looking for the old version that holds 5 mils with the reduced chamber and deck.

E-bay Vendor I asked this guy to post pictures of the deck and he did. I was turned off b/c the positive block appears copper, if that doesn't bother you guys than have a go at it I guess.

I ordered my 4.2 here I e-mailed this vendor and asked them if they had the version that's posted on their web-site which is 4.2. Their response: " Thank you for reaching out to VaporBeast.com! To my knowledge, we have the same version as is shown on our site. If we do receive a newer version from our vendor, they will let us know. Thank you and have a great day!" It's a little bit of a gamble but I'll let ya'll know if I actually do receive the 4.2 or older.
I used Coupon Code "YEAHBABY" which doesn't expire for free 10% off.

How 'bout some more, new build photos gang? I've got one of these coming finally and I'll probably need assistance.

I grabbed this build on an FB group. It vapes great, I'm very happy with the flavor and vapor. I've been building at at .41 with 26g around a 3/32 with no dry hits.

One con I do have to mention with mine is it slowly leaks out the air holes right after filling the tank... until I vape it. After 2-3 pulls the leaking stops completely until the next fill. Every fill is annoying and I rush to vape it. Other than this I have no issues with it.

Would it be risky to drill out the juice channels some more or can "too big" juice channels always be compensated with more wick in the channel?

I would imagine that it could work well, considering that's how the aqua works.

The aqua has seriously fat and deep juice channels, and you actually need to shove a good amount of wick into it

Thanks for posting the link. That looks like something I can easily attempt. :)

So, I just got my Fogger V4.....DOA.... :(

One of the screws in the screw terminals just keeps spinning & spinning....looks like the female-end of the terminal is stripped.....well that sucks, I was looking forward to using this thing!! Now I just gotta hope the Ebay seller accepts my request for a return!!

I just had one question: Are any of you guys running 26ga in this? Seems like the Screws are too small to permit it.....could be wrong though, I didn't even have a chance to try!!
