I doubt I would worry about a little bit of rust. I'd probably just polish it off with a little steelwool and rock on.
But I'm an idiot... just ask my wife!

Now I'm wondering about the quality of the whole thing! The rust, in my case, was in spots on the top of two of them and inside the top, adjacent to the drip tip hole, of the other one. AT east yours was a sealed box, Kiwi.
Out of curiosity, did/does your have a Phillips or slotted center pin screw?
You try throwing that thing in a UC cleaner with some soap or maybe an Eferdent, Willy? (unflavored Eferdent)
A good seller will open and test every atty personally, that explains part of your troubles, as far as the Orings, sometimes mine stick especially on the bottom, to the tank. But when rust is involved I'd send it back. That's why you go thru eBay, they care about the feedback so email then and they will usually take care of you.Hey Tbev, I ordered three Foggers off of flea bay. They came fast, but all of the boxes were opened before they were shipped. All of them show small signs of rust on the top caps. There are two different center pin screws, one Phillips and two slotted, and one of the chimneys has the "Fogger" logo etched in a really crappy, hardly readable, way. The "wonderful" screwdriver was missing from one box. All of the "O" rings on the glass tanks were stuck to the glass so I think they aren't the real deal either. I'm trying to return them since I suspect they are clones re-packed into original boxes. Ruined my day!
That's exactly the way mine looked, like they didn't survive shipping very well.
I have both a Fogger V4.3 and V4.4 and I really can't tell them apart in terms of how they vape. Flavor, throat hit and vapor are the same. Others have said similar things. Look for the posts that talk about finding machining debris in the airflow holes. I'd guess that you have the same problem with your V4.4 as they did. Also - yes the 4.4 is authentic as per the pics and tips in this thread. It just seems the airholes are smaller outside and on the deck. Thanks a bunch in advance for any welcome tips!
Isn't that completely embarrassing when you finally realize that the reason there's a puddle on your desk or wherever was that stupid screw. Felt like an idiot thinking that I'd just removed it so how could I forget to put it back? So you get my sympathies.EVERY leaker I've had has been the result of user error: not wicked correctly. Well, there was that one time when I forgot to replace the fill screw.
