Tried that, and guess what?

"Origin post is preparing shipment"

GROAN!

Boo, origin post! For me, it had tracking info for China in Chinese. There was some kind of "Translate" option that took a minute to figure out, and it showed more detail - travel between cities, then that it was shipped to some kind of customs facility, etc.

First overseas vape purchase (and most expensive vape purchase) and it seems it may be lost at sea!

My Kayfun4 Started across the ocean 4 days ago....aboard the Titanic

Nice. I hope it arrives soon enough for Christmas.

I chose NOT to buy Kayfun V4 in favor of rDNA40 Vapor Shark as a Christmas present (From me to me)
It is only across the Continent of US (in Florida). I thought just following Lewis and Clark trail without crossing the Mason Dixon line would be faster.
I was wrong. Looks like your Titanic will arrive sooner from Germany than my Lewis and Clark from Florida.
Here is what I received from Vapor Shark today:

"Dear Michael,

We would like to apologize for the delay you are experiencing in our order processing and shipping time. We understand you may have placed your order with the hopes of getting your order before the Holiday Season and want to be transparent about what has held us back from our usual speed of service.
As you may know, a small percentage of the Evolv boards that drive our device have had a quality control issue in regards to the screen readout becoming grainy or scrambled. While this issue has been addressed and resolved with Evolv, we are having our Quality Control Team hand-check each device prior to sending it out to you in efforts to thwart any shipment that may have had a faulty board. Due to this issue, we are also not getting the quantity of DNA 40 chips that we require on a weekly basis to keep up with the demand. Evolv is doing everything they can do on their end to get us back up to speed and meet our demands. Due to these unforeseen issues, our usual speed of fulfillment and delivery has been compromised and we are doing everything in our power to get as many devices out as quickly as possible. We sincerely apologize for not being able to deliver the product you ordered on time. Please be patient with us as we are doing our best and will ship your device as soon as possible.
We really appreciate your business and while we would love nothing more than to get these devices in your hands today, we want to assure ourselves that the product we are sending you is free of any screen readout defect and fully meeting our quality expectations.
In light of this, we understand that you may not want to wait longer than the initially expected time frame and would instead prefer a full refund. If this is the case, please let us know and we will gladly issue you one (typical refund turnaround time is 3-5 days). However, if you do decide to wait you can hold your position in line for the rDNA 40 and be assured that you or your loved ones will receive one of the market's best devices and that it has been quality tested and approved!
Regardless of your decision, we appreciate your business and from the bottom of our hearts apologize for this unforeseen inconvenience. More over, we appreciate your patience!
Whether you decide to cancel for a full refund or keep your place in line for the rDNA 40, we want to issue you a token of our appreciation with a personal promo code for a free Vapor Shark 30ml bottle of e-liquid. Please use promo code F30BQ2S7DMKRE upon your next order to receive your complimentary bottle of Vapor Shark e-liquid.
Regards
Felipe "

Well I couldn't stand it any longer, so I ordered the Vapor Flask for my Christmas present to myself (to go along with the ridiculously expensive KF4)

$500 in one week!...I sure as hell hope my wife doesn't find out!

Are you going to wait it out, or cancel your Shark order?

I'm waiting... It is not like my life depend on it

I opened a case with eBay on that bad Big Fogger head I got. They said it was beyond refund time but I showed them communications with the vendor within the time limit and they refunded my money. Still no Big Fogger.

So today I got a package in the mail from a place I didn't recognize. Sure enough, another Big Fogger base. I checked the screws, fill, center post, and coil screws, and all is good. I'll clean it tomorrow and finally get my Big Fogger going again. It looks kind of neat with a black base and stainless air flow ring and the rest of the parts.

I finally cleaned that Big Fogger base and built it up this afternoon. I was going to get ambitious and use 30ga twisted and take photos along the way, but got lazy and "wanted it now" so I went with 29 gauge and a net of .92 ohms, shooting for 1 ohm. It's amazing! I usually run around 22 watts but this guy is up at 29 at the moment and I'm getting a nic buzz.

I bought it about four months ago and started using and liking it immediately. Unfortunately, I broke a bit off in the base drilling the air holes out and couldn't get the broken piece out. That was about three weeks into using it. I ordered a base a month ago and that was bad too, stripped fill hole threads. I got another base this week, a surprise from the vendor on fleabay, and finally got around to building it up today. It looks kind of cool with the black base and the rest of the parts all stainless. The air ring is modified so it clears the air holes completely and I'm not drilling anything until I get a set of bits in .1mm increments.

I love my Big Fogger too. I like it even better than the smaller ones!

DNA40 + dual coiled Fogger = WOW!!!!!!

Wasn't at all happy with my single coil twisted Ni200 builds, so I decided to stuff a couple of coils in one of my small deck Foggers....WOW, what a pain in the .....!! But Sooo worth it. I probably wasted 3' of wire before I successfully captured my leads without destroying everything. I can't wait for my KF4 to get here: 4 post screws are going to make dual coils SO much easier, especially with Nickel wire

30awg x 2.5 x 12wraps for .115ohms

Do your coils on the Fogger look like "Garage Door Springs" like mine too?

I chose V4.3 as a candidate for DNA40 because of it's bigger deck. I could only imagine trying to put that in V4.1, V4.2 of V4.4

But it was worth it. The vape is great! I'm assuming that you've got your Vapor Flask already. Congratulation!
Generally, I try to use a single coil build on DNA40 to avoided oversized coils "Garage Door Springs". IMHO: The easiest Ni200 build was on Flash e-Vapor and Arnold. But the best Vapor Production, so far is from my Fogger 4.3 followed by Rose V2, Flash e-Vapor, Squape R and Arnold. Kayfun, even with increased airflow, is the last. I haven't received my Lemo yet, but I imagine - it could be a good candidate for Ni200 build because of it's airflow (especially yours)

P. S: As you can see, I drilled my wire post for ease of coil installation, only I also filed my screws to avoid any sharp edges that will cut nickel wires very easy. I also put a tiny little M1.6 threaded grab-screws on the bottom of those screw holes, for that same reason: To prevent cutting the wire with the screw. Works for me.

Holy hell, no, mine aren't garage door springs! LOL! 2.5dia x 12 wraps. I did use my small deck V4.2, so it's a little tight, but not too bad. Capturing the leads was my biggest problem. I need to get some nice little washers, like awsum140 mentioned

Why not drill your wire posts?

I forgot to mention that I welded 26 AWG leads to the 30 AWG Ni200 "Garage Door Springs" to hold them in place and to avoid "Hot Leg" potential issue. The first wrap and the last one are 26AWG on each coil, the rest of the wraps are 30 AWG

I have no complaints about my Billow's performance or leaking. But I find filling it with juice is a bit of a pain in my back, like Fogger 4.3.

I drilled the Top Cap and installed two Fill Screws. There isn't much room there, therefore I had to use M2.0 - 0.4mm tiny Grub Screws.

And, I'm sure you've seen my build on it, but here it is again:

My thanks to AMD for the Erlkonigin lead!

After two tanks. Maybe a little more wick would be good but it's doing well right now. 1.6 ohms, 30 gauge.

I ended up using a burr in the Dremel, going slowly until the Erl fit. Then a sanding drum on the Dremel. After that, 220, 400 and 600 grit by hand.

The modified ring and the Fat Daddy I installed when the spinning 510 connector bit the bullet.

So much better than the extension tube and a Fogger, at least in terms of carrying it around, plus I get to use my VTR like it was designed to be used. This one is over a year old and still going strong.
