I can't belive how many posts there are these days about the health concerns of vaping. Look, if you are afraid of the unknown then go back to smoking tobacco, at least with that you can be 100% sure you are killing yourself without any of this uncertainty with vaping.

If you were not a smoker but thought e-cigs were cool because they had blinky lights and tasted like bannanas then you were stupid for risking developing a nicotine addiction and you should stop immediately because it is not "cool" for your body to crave something that is not healthy.

At the end of the day I fully realize that there will be a price to pay for my inability to control my addiction to nicotine and I am not fooling myself that puting anything into my lungs besides fresh air will take its toll. I am just betting (based on my intuition and lack of contrary data) right now that vapor is less harmfull that smoke. Eventually if there is evidence to the contrary, I will re-evaluate.

I think most people would agree that from what they have personally experienced that vaping feels better than smoking. I have also heard a few people tell me that thier lung function tests results improved drastically in the years after quiting smoking. I personally do not weez anymore and my energy levels as well as my sleeping have improved. I recently got a cold and was pleasantly surprised when I shook it off after only about 3 days. When i was a smoker a cold was a 2 week event.

I understand the reasoning behind people being scared or at least concerned that vaping might not be perfect and in the worse case really bad for our health. One thing is as a vaporer I find myself having to answer the same question from people "Is it safe?" and all I can say with confidence is "From my experience my health has improved since I quit smoking and started vaping". Another thing is the fight against the powers that be will and are trying to get their nasty hands around this thing as well as the anti- "anything people enjoy that I don't like or looks weird to me" people. Evidence would be nice to be able to 100% end the argument with scientific proof.

As an extra note I would like to say something else. I went to school for ventilation. I learned some interesting things. Like the fact that If you work in a building where your air is not coming from windows but a ventilation system of some sort (which is just about everyone who works in some sort of a building) your only getting 15% fresh air, all the rest is recycled bacteria filled (as well as small particulates) air. The filters they use in these ventilation systems are only for large particulates thats it. Exceptions are hospitals, auto shops and special facilities that by law must have 100% fresh air intake. I like to remind both smokers, vaporers and just about everyone that breathes that you are for the better part of your day most likely breathing very dirty air that is having a bad effect on your health. Let's not even get into outdoor air quality if you live in a city or an area with manufacturing anywhere close to you.

But I'm just saying :)
