I currently DIY 36mg/ml nicotine using exclusively unflavored VG as base. I use a bottom feed Reo Mini2.1 and it vapes like a champ. Wimpy clouds of vapor or vaping technique is not my problem.

My problem is that I'm used to a much higher level of nicotine. In fact, I really love nicotine. I used to use 4mg nicotine lozenges before I started vaping to save money.

How high in nicotine levels have people used safely. Please, only answer if you use nicotine levels of 36mg/ml or more or know where such information is posted online from those who have actual experience using higher levels of nicotine in the 36mg + range.

Thanks.
I think you must have wimpy clouds and poor technique.
:D

If you're into saving money, TBH maybe try lowering your resistance and burning some dual, or even triple or quad, coils in a hard-hitting RDA. Would be cheaper than vaping 48mg NIC, which to my wimpy mind seems INSANE and unnecessary.

Checking back in on one of my fave posts...good to see you're still making sure these close minded people realize there are some 48mg vg menthol vapers still out here that are in it for the nic and abhor disgusting pg

I'm still vaping 74mg pure vg to clear out this big 100mg bottle i have but after that I think I agree with you

48mg just tastes better...I will probably cut down and be in the same boat you are

Wicks are annoying, It is usually the first thing to go. I'm very lazy w/making coils. I'd rather clean a coil than build a new one every week.

Going to move to ceramic wicks soon I hope. Been using cotton. I find I end up making a new cotton wick at least twice a week. Any bit of charring on my wick destroys it for me and I have to replace.

48mg/ml nic is rather tame, esp considering it gets diluted down about 5-10% with flavoring. I may get some 60mg/ml from MFS as it is not as peppery as NudeNic.

Wizard labs is too slow for me plus arrived with cracked lid, which meant I had to immediately use it for making flavored nic, instead of keeping it around for future experiments.

@Jeff
A REos mod does not put out wimpy clouds, lol... even when your juice sucks or is 100%PG a Reos mod will still put most mods to shame. I'm using a mini but it doesnt lack ability to put out dense clouds. I would love to get a full sized Reo in the future. A Reo is all a vaper really needs, imo. Reo has my business for life. Every part on the damn device can be easily replaced or DIY'd. Reo is an ... miracle mod. Love it.

Some ppl just like more nic.

Cotinine I triple agree with you....mfs is definitely better than wizardlabs...i did the head to head comparison...so much smoother

The 100mg from mfs is smoother than the 48mg from wizardlabs...i might just throw away my wizardlabs juice now and stick with the 100mg as long as it comes from mfs

I never would have realized the vast difference if you didnt open my eyes to it

The preference is of course subjective, I did not mean to imply one vendor is better quality than the other, many vapers around here seem to prefer ultra peppery nic base. You and I aren't one of them I suppose.

So yea, I agree MFS is my fav nic base atm.

I haven't had a chance to try 100mg/ml from MFS yet (just nude nic@100/60/48, wizard@48, MFS48 -100%PG as well as 100%VG for MFS, previous to that I got my nic base from Virgin Vapors but VV is ultra-weaksauce almost nil nic), it does sound promising from the reports you gave. Thanks!:D

I am currently vaping about 41mg/ml nic (MFS) with some flavor added. It is a bit weak IMO I can only really feel it if I go a few days without vaping. I don't know what is wrong w/my nic tolerance. My clouds are large and I change wicks every day to prevent a gummed up wick (my number1 cause of weak clouds).

I think my tolerance is so high due to my previous usage of 4mg mini nicorette lozenges, gosh I love those things but they get too damn expensive (Its like buying a new mod every 2 weeks), I've even went through a whole cartridge of 21 loz in a 48hr span several times. If it werent for the fact I got to suck on a mint loz that sometimes causes oral irritation and stomach discomfort nic loz would be my #1 route of administration. Patches don't deliver the nic fast enough or in a pulsatile manner so dont have the same AD effect on me as lozenges or vaping. As good if not better than a cup of espresso.

Just a small observation, if your chucking respectable clouds of vapor, why not hold the vapor in a bit longer and see if you get a bit more value from each vape?

The way I see it, the nicotine is there, your just having an issue delivering it to your system. You could chuchutrain all day long and burn through a ton of juice, or take your time and give the vapor a chance to do its thing.

That's all I have for you, I do hope you find a solution to your nicotine delivery needs.

Take care,
Maurice

Yea thanks.

I kinda already do both. I'll just increase it to MFS's 60mg/ml eventually, heck I may even trial 100mg/ml again (except this time use MFS instead of NudeNicotine's 100mg/ml) due to Baron Sciarri's reported experience. It seems that vendors do make all the difference. Time for a MFS re-order, once I get around to it...

You have a Reo, right? The subohm kits are out. Get one and make a much lower ohm coil. If you don't get a headache from too much nic doing that you're doing something wrong....LOL Also, if you are using the RM2 on the Reo and you make long tails, your vape will be greatly reduced. You need tiny, maybe 1/8" tails or you drown your coil.

Quite frankly, as someone said above, if you need that much nic your setup is all wrong.

Short wicks don't work too well in my RM2, they need too frequent replacing. The long wicks actually work better imo. I like to keep my coil low too.

The clouds my mod produces are about identical to the ones seen in this video

Thanks for the heads up on the new Reo kits!

Thanks for the heads up on the new Reo kits!

The length of your wicks should have no affect at all on how often they need replacing in a Reo! It's not about the clouds, it's about the heat/airflow. If you're running a 2.0 ohm coil, you're not getting the same nic hit as a 1.5, a 1.0, or a 0.5 (or lower) coil. You can get clouds out of a 3.2 carto with the right setup/juice, but it won't give you the nic hit of a subohm coil. You don't even have to go subohm - you can still build a 1.0 ohm coil in your Reo without the kit.

You should head on over to the Reo forum to get advice about how to get the most out of your Reo. You could buy many mods with the amount you're going to be spending on nic if you're using that much - which makes no sense at all.

Thanks! . My coils are about 1.28ohms consistently. It can actually catch start fires when it glows, lol.

I have yet to obtain a subohm kit, i dont think it is really that necessary.

My last coil was .99ohm and it flares bright red within about 1-2 sec. If it were any hotter it would burn my wick, which seems to happen if I press the contact down longer than 3 sec anyway. Usually give it a few 1 sec taps.

Using 50mg/ml nic diluted with ginger extract flavor. It really is kinda lame on the nic level though. Not very comparable to my experience w/nicorrette loz. I should prob increase concentration to 60-75mg/ml again at some pt in the future, but am running low on my vg nic emulsion (I assume that is what it is, I don't know the H20 content of the VG that was sent to me anyway). It could be anhydrous VG for all I know, so prob has less than 5% water.

My vaping exp has been interesting but I still wish I had skipped straight to a Reo instead of wasting 200$ on BluCigs and crappy chinese knockoffs. Nicorrette mini loz will always hold a soft spot in my heart, but it simply gets too cost prohibitive.

Am I reading this correctly?

You are vaping 50mg/ml nic and are wanting to increase it to 60-75mg/ml?
