Me too. I guess I didn't realize what sort of contest this was, or even that it was a contest...

Whenever someone would try to complement my grandfather on something he did, he always told that person, "It wasn't me. It just came floating down the river like that." I learned a few things from that man.

I will add one comment, my stupid dog just grabed a empty glass bottle wrapped in bubble wrap and desided to play with it. In the same box was a 4.8% bottle of nic. luckly she didn't want to play with that. Sooooo, I moved all my dyi stuff to the closet because she is too young to smoke, I am am unwilling to take any chances with her and she can't open closet doors yet. She is stupid but I still love her! Yall can carry on!

"The myriad creatures rise from it yet it claims no authority;
It gives them life yet claims no possession;
It benefits them yet exacts no gratitude;
It accomplishes its task yet lays claim to no merit.

It is because it lays claim to no merit
That its merit never deserts it."

Sorry. I spent my youth either scrapping in the street, when school was in session, or at my grandparent's place, when school wasn't in session. I know a few things about gangs, fighting, farming, tobacco growing, and moonshine making, but I never heard of Tao Te Ching.

He writes pretty though.

Wonder how well he can dig an outhouse hole?

Probably with as little effort as possible.:laugh:

What I gleaned from your Grandfather's statement is that he knew that supreme effort doesn't always equal supreme results; so although you could say he's just being "modest" there is also a hidden wisdom in taking no credit for results.

In the "Bhagavad Gita" it is stated that the wise man does "passionless" activity. It doesn't mean that his "heart is not in the project", but that he's not expecting any particular result. So perhaps you could say employing that attitude you only have "upside potential."

Oh well; to put it another way, you know how trying really hard (straining) to do achieve something often backfires?

It's that sort of thing...

Actually, i've had a really good think about this. I can see that I have been wrong about both toxicology and the performance of my own modified hardware. Despite factual occurances that have happened to me personally, I realise now that I should listen to members who are far more senior than myself. It is obvious that being a senior member means you are both a qualified pharmacologist and design engineer. Thrrefore, I should take stock and listen.
So what have I learned?
That the cigalike is not efficient. In fact, that vaping is not efficient at all.
That I can safely rub into my body 100000 mg of nicotine.
Hmmm, I can now see that I should stop this silly vaping business as it obviously transfers no nicotine at all. I should just buy strong nicotine base and rub it into my body and drink it.
I now intend to do this based on the advice of senior members of this forum.
Thanks guys!

Would I advise them to keep kids and pets away? yup.

RedBird, dude I think you could benefit from a little less nic, you seem high strung. My biggest point when I was "fear-mongering" was exactly what you yourself re-iterated: that caution should be exercised around children and pets. Yes I mentioned that some don gloves when dealing with 60mg/ml nic, those people are just being cautious. I don't think your anecdotal evidence is enough to sway those people from stopping, but you seem to want to encourage people to be less cautious, not sure why.

That said I actually appreciate your contrary view that some people are overly cautious and it eases my mind a bit when I have to deal with the stuff, but saying stuff like "you can drink a liter of 100mg/ml nic" is pretty misguided, and I'm tempted to report stuff like that, so I'm glad you retracted that statement, as i'm not trying to pick a fight (never was, read my posts again). Let's focus on encouraging safe procedure, not bragging and name calling. No hard feelings though.

Wow, just a few pages ago i was saying how i hoped to stimulate some intelligent discussion. I had no idea that even just saying I vape a stronger eliquid than thou would start such a tizz.
I think theres an element of our culture involved here, like how us brits cant get drunk on american beer...

Is the beer thing a joke? It doesn't make any sense, chap.

Got a brand new Provari mini with blue LED, a spare 18350 end cap, a 18350, a 18490 for my eliquid recipe. All OVERNIGHTED.

I post good recipes online free. I have excellent recipes, vendors pay for these.

I want to believe you, but it's tough.

From what I read this post did not discourage me from vaping it in fact encouraged me to mix up a batch of my favorite vape at 36mg reserved for those times when the stress hits and I get those cravings for an analog and my 24ml just don't do it for me. It's steeping in my heated UC as I type this.
